Al Nusra terrorists jihadists
On October 20th Russian and Syrian forces initiated the first of four consecutive 11-hour humanitarian ceasefires in Aleppo after the West ramped up their 'war crimes' smear campaign against them, pressuring them to end their legitimate anti-terrorist operation, and after Western propaganda organ Syrian Observatory for Human Rights continued manufacturing evidence toward that end.

So, after delivering mountains of humanitarian aid and steadily liberating the country from terrorists, now Russia and Syria have to prove to the invading West that they are interested in ensuring Syria's safety.

Since the ceasefire went into effect, what have we seen? Have we seen the West's 'moderate rebels' helping women and children leave the city, fleeing from 'barbaric' Russian airstrikes? No. As Fort Russ reports, we see Western-backed extremists using the pause in order to corral residents and gun them down in cold blood:
On October 20th at 8:00, a humanitarian pause entered into force. Since Tuesday, Russian and Syrian air forces have ceased strikes, and before the beginning of the humanitarian pause Syrian troops moved back a distance to allow militants and residents to leave the eastern districts of Aleppo through two specific corridors.

"In Bustan Al-Qasr, 2-2,500 civilians who wanted to use the corridors to flee from East Aleppo gathered. Nusra militants opened fire on the crowd and did not let them leave. Several people suffered from gunshot wounds," militia sources reported.

Since the morning, terrorists have fired on evacuation points where ambulances and buses are gathered, with mortars and small arms.As residents of the eastern neighborhoods have reported, militants have threatened to shoot anyone who wants to leave the city.
And as South Front reports, it sounds like the only people allowed to leave Eastern Aleppo were a handful of wounded extremist militants. To top it off, the UN plan to disentangle 'moderate' rebels from terrorists by allowing them to leave Aleppo has failed - they all want to stick together in the war against Syria's legitimate government and the butchery of the people.

Where is the Western media and the "Syrian Observatory for Human Rights" now?

The hypocrisy is appalling, yet not surprising. When the last ceasefire failed, the U.S. falsely accused Russia and Syria of failing to allow civilians and militants out of the city. (That was the purpose of the deal, after all.) Now, Russia and Syria have unilaterally opened eight corridors to do just that, and provided everything necessary to make it a success. But once again, it is not working. And there's no way you can argue that this is Russia or Syria's fault. It's absolutely clear that they are the only sincere party. The rebels refused to accept the offer, and refused to allow militant groups and civilians who want to leave to do so. Instead, they shelled the corridors and killed some of those who wanted to leave. No civilians were allowed to pass through to safety. Today, only ten managed to do so. The head of the family who escaped is interviewed in the second half of the video below. See for yourself what he has to say about the "rebels":

So far, the West has been largely silent about the failure of al-Nusra and their allies to accept the deal. We haven't heard any loud Western denunciations of their flagrant denial of humanitarian aid and use of civilians as human shields. This at the same time that the UN has this to say about what's happening in Mosul:
"We are gravely worried by reports that ISIL [Daesh] is using civilians in and around Mosul as human shields as the Iraqi forces advance, keeping civilians close to their offices or places where fighters are located, which may result in civilian casualties," [UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra'ad Hussein] said, as quoted by the UN press release.

"There is a grave danger that Daesh militants will not only use such vulnerable people as human shields but may opt to kill them rather than see them liberated," he warned. Zeid called on the Iraqi government to protect civil population of Mosul and its suburbs. "We know ISIL has no regard for human life, which is why it is incumbent upon the Iraqi Government to do its utmost to protect civilians," the commissioner said.
If only Zeid would find it in his heart to afford the civilians of Aleppo the same consideration, and to condemn the terrorists using them as human shields and killing them

It will take the politicians and media a couple days to come up with a semi-plausible narrative of how Russia is to blame for Nusra refusing to allow civilians access to safety, medical aid, food and shelter. That will prove difficult, but I'm sure they'll find a way. They always do.

The stunning hypocrisy should remind everyone yet again exactly who is responsible for war crimes in Syria. Remember that an al Nusra commander told German journalist Jürgen Todenhöfer,
Yes. The Americans are on our side, but not as it should be. For example we were told: We must capture and conquer "Battalion 47". Saudi Arabia gave us 500 million Syrian pounds. For taking the "al-Muslimiya" infantry school years ago we received from Kuwait 1.5 million Kuwaiti dinar and from Saudi Arabia 5 million U.S. dollars.

From the governments or from private persons?

From the governments.
And remember that 5 years ago we heard the same lies about Gaddafi and Libya. Despite Obama's crocodile tears that his greatest mistake was 'failing to plan for the day after what I think was the right thing to do in intervening in Libya,' they'll gladly do it again in Syria. And, if it weren't for Russia, they'd have succeeded by now.
