Most people do not seem to know much about Holland. They were just like the British involved in the slave and opium trade and had colonies like Indonesia and Surinam. During WWII they were number one in deporting Jews (percentage wise). Even the Dutch do not (want to) know their history. Few people ever mention the slave trade or colonialism. Maybe if they did they would realise that they themselves have turned into perfect little slaves and have lost the ability to think for themselves because of their appalling education system, (there is no freedom in education) and their beliefs. I think it is fair to say that the Dutch have also bought into the lie that they are tolerant and open-minded and therefore can't look at their past and present in a critical manner. There are always exceptions of course and sometimes (but not often) you get to hear from them.
Geert Wilders is just a puppet and a distraction. In the mean time, Dutch government gets to implement all kinds of racist policies without batting an eye.
Also, the Dutch have always treated new people from non-Western countries very badly.
Is a fascist. Building hatred, fear and intolerance is what they do. Seriously bad karma, for him, I fear. Perhaps for his next life where undoubtedly he will NOT be a white supremacist. Does he seriously have the power (yet?) to deport people who don't know the language? Or is he just talking out of his rear?
When people go to another country they most definitely should try to learn the language as well as abide by they law. That's just the right thing to do. Having said that, allowances should be made for things that should be considered compassionate grounds.
I guess I feel lucky that I live in an extremely tolerant and multicultural country.
