OF THE
TIMES
Briefly stated, the Gell-Mann Amnesia effect is as follows. You open the newspaper to an article on some subject you know well... You read the article and see the journalist has absolutely no understanding of either the facts or the issues. Often, the article is so wrong it actually presents the story backward—reversing cause and effect...
In any case, you read with exasperation or amusement the multiple errors in a story, and then turn the page to national or international affairs, and read as if the rest of the newspaper was somehow more accurate about Palestine than the baloney you just read. You turn the page, and forget what you know.

ghost video. More like a video of a real guy walking out of a building and then the image of him faded to make it look "ghost-like"?
Well, you know, security guys get bored too, you know....
Oh... and how long does it take for a security guard to 'react' to said apparation? I think you have your answer here - too quickly!! It surely isn't usually THAT quickly.
Verdict? Bored security guards? For all those interested and capable, maybe re-examine that shimmer.
there's a ghost on 0:16 and the caretaker is out on 0:21
that's one fast caretaker
If you look carefully the figure seems to be by the door from the beginning of the video, and his left arm raises and the falls a couple of times, as if smoking a cigarrete.
I gotta' go with Joe on this one, I think he pegged it ''Dead on"!
Ghosts,Big Foot, all kinds of crap that mostly brings attention to
those proclaiming the existance of such crap.
I get a HOOT out of the searching for BIG FOOT TV show. All
these physically unattractive people running around in the woods
with expensive recording and sensory equipment.
I am betting 99% of the "Big foot" entities are produced by teens
who know the woods and have a great sense of humor.
Also why the need to denigrate people by calling them "physically unattractive"?
I know on old video cameras when I was a kid mid 70's that if you left the camera stationary for 20 minutes or so the image would burn in. You could then walk into the scene and be see through like a ghost.
This looks a lot like that and being a security camera I'm sure an image could get burnt in.
The problem is though that like TerToen said the figure is already standing there smoking. If it was a burn in effect they would have had to get into the scene by vp coming through the door or jumping the railing and you would see them immediately upon entering frame. Also, they fade out. Burn in effect does not explain that.
I also found it interesting that the angle he was walking didn't match up with the sidewalk. He headed for that railing and did not turn quite right to align with the bend. I wonder if the railing was added much later to the building and if this might be a residual haunting image from before the railing existed.
