I could go on. There are two or three hundred appointments to fill, but I think the picture is clear. It would be an administration that represented Americans, not special interests and foreigners, and an administration that put the country back in order.
But, of course, it is all a dream. No one who actually cares about our country is permitted to serve in public office.

"But, of course, it is all a dream. No one who actually cares about our country is permitted to serve in public office." AND, if someone even made it close to the presidency, they would, of course, meet up with some unfortunate accident.
So it follows then, that this country will never get back in order; instead, we are going to that really hot place in a hand basket. I say this seriously because I just don't see enough awakening minds in this country that could possibly make any difference in the disastrous course we're on.
exiting WWII as winner, made US a technologicaly and in any other means as superpower. Compared to rest of Europe and Russia, who were systematically burned and ruined to the bottom. US today is just a tool of PTB's. People of USA DID NOT stopped a single war after WWII !. So, they have no power to do anything important. PTB's will use USA as tool for bullying of rest of the globe as long as they want. And people of US can do nothing about that. And all this about "cares about country" is irrelevant. USA has role in this world and until is military superpower, PTB's will not leave USA alone.
In and Ideal World! I think his "appointments" could be very appropriate and interesting.
I like Sibel Edmonds as head of the FBI and Cynthia McKinney as Secretary of State, as well as putting Bradley Manning in charge of closing down torture prisons.
But, Willie Nelson in charge of Agriculture?
And AUSTRALIANS in charge of the Public Broadcasting Corporation? .... Ok... Well, that might be ok for the situation.... I supose.... hmm.
It's hard to find a favorite in this alternate reality - WHICH DOESN'T HAVE TO BE ALTERNATE!- but, my favorite is Norman Finkelstein as US Ambassador to Israel. Man would they hate that! "Self-Hating Jewish"* child of Holocaust Survivors NOT demanding money from anyone or country... I gotta think Israel would NOT be "down" with that.
I've read PCR's columns for decades (back when his columns could get into a newspaper **) and remember well when he finally came around to pointing out the absurdity of the "War on Drugs," and opposing it. He's been driven by his integrity. The "problem" was and is, he values his honor and integrity as seriously as most of the PTB misvalue their "property." (Indeed, he pointed out in a recent column about how he could have been filthy rich . . if he'd only sold out his integrity. See [Link] . And yes, I believe him there, and that he means what he says and says what he means.)
And no, Paul, (if you read this) no one was spoofing you! There are a lot of non-fools out here in the good old USA, who are quickly labeled as "T-words" for quoting the Consitution, supporting Ron Paul, the 2nd Amendment, (and soon enough, I imagine, supporting you.)
Keep up the good fight, ALL!
R.C.
* As Finkelstein has (I'm certain) already been labeled, and which would be hyped even higher.
** PCR also wrote a column about that, and how, as a former MSM editor*** and columnist, how, as soon as he wrote about his doubts of the official story of 9/11, how he couldn't get a d*&^ thing published in MSM newspapers anymore.
*** (of some sort) for the WSJ? & Newsweek (or such - see his credentials, don't trust me on these specifics but they're impressive and date back to when they meant something.)

P.s., PCR, if you read this, I personally was in support of what I called a "Ron Paul Craig Roberts" ticket. (Sorry, PCR, you would've been VP, but nothing personal. The catchy name trick wouldn't have worked the other way. Anyway, after four years, I imagine RP would've stepped down and you would have done two terms. Go for it! PCR in 2016 - provided America remains UnAmeriKanized.

If I had a political heart left, it would be shared with Paul - some on the list would shake things up indeed; yet alas, it is but a dream as you said.
Thanks for considering even if just for a moment; made my day.
