US: Three UFO sightings over Arizona

Three Arizona stories. Same day. Same region. Two witnesses watched large, amber-colored lights - one followed the lights in his truck and saw them touching ground. A third witness described three white strobe lights forming a triangle - the size of a football field - moving toward a major airport.

The following are unedited witness reports filed with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If MUFON Arizona investigates and reports back on any of these cases, I will update this page. These reports and their headlines are unedited.

In this first case, a witness in Glendale, AZ, watches three stationary amber-colored lights, each about three to four-times the size of a jet, laid out in a straight line. And then one-by-one, the three lights disappeared.

UFO Mysteries: The 'flying triangles' - Part II - theirs or ours?

This is the second in a two-part series about the history of the "flying triangles". This installment will examine the commonly reported characteristics of the objects, in addition to presenting two distinctly different theories regarding their possible origins.

Reports of flying triangles, boomerangs, wings, etc., became increasingly prevalent during the early 1980's, through the 1990's. While there were some variations in descriptions being reported from witnesses from all over the world, there are some strikingly similar characteristics as well. While most witnesses describe a regular triangular shape, some reports mention rounded corners. In general, there is no sound associated with the objects, although some have described hearing a loud rumbling noise. The flying triangles are generally silent unless the witness is located directly beneath the object, and it is flying slow and low.

US: Fireball over Pittsburgh; UFO changing shapes multiple times reported in California

UFO sighting reports have literally been pouring in over the past couple of days, with the most recent report coming from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.....

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - 4/29/2009 -

A bright, meteor-like object observed starting above a nearby treeline, streaked toward the horizon at a 45 degree angle before disappearing. The object then reappeared, following the same path, then disappeared a second time below the horizon.

Santa Clara, California - 4/29/2009 -

Six orange lights moved through the sky, in an east to west direction, traveling at an altitude of approximately 2,500 feet. The object stopped and the lights broke formation and started revolving around one another in a "chaotic" manner, went into a circular pattern for about 10 to 20 seconds, before reforming the original formation of a wedge or boomerang configuration. The object, once again, began traveling in an east to west trajectory. The object continued heading west towards Ocean Beach, where it stopped once more and repeated the previous motions and then continued west until out of sight.

South Korea: UFO crash last month reported by media

In April, around two weeks ago, a number of farmers working in fields noticed what they thought was a helicopter crashing to earth in the Gyeongsang Province of South Korea. The witnesses noticed flames and smoke coming from the ground after the impact.

A team of rescue helicopters along with the police and emergency services soon began a thorough search of the area which lasted for over three hours but failed to locate any crashed vehicle. Around 130 personnel were involved in the search.

As no wreckage was located the point of impact local authorities speculated that the object might have been a small meteorite or a UFO.

Salma Hayek: 'My daughter sees ghosts'

Salma Hayek is worried about her 16 month old daughter Valentina. She claims that Valentina is able to see ghosts and communicate with the spirit world. She alleges that she once caught her daughter in the middle of a conversation with a spirit.

Salma commented on US TV series 'The Rachel Ray Show': 'Last night she saw a ghost. I'm convinced. She woke up and her eyes were open. And she's looking at one specific point and she's going, 'No no no no, au revoir,' which means goodbye in French. And she's looking at someone, but there's no one there. I was so scared, and I'm like, 'Yes, au revoir, whoever you are, get out!' And then she started saying it in English, 'Bye bye, bye bye!'

Russia: Search for the Yeti of Shoria Mountain continues

The search for the Yeti or Bigfoot of Shoria Mountain in Russia is set to continue as the snows melt and the weather warms in Siberia. The expedition will commence in June 2009 and will be headed by Valery Kimiev and Professor Nikolai Skalon, the head of the department of Zoology at the Kemerovo State University. Local's are still alleging they have seen the bigfoot type creature in the area surrounding the Azass Caves on many occasions. One local will be joining the expedition, Hunter Michael Kiskarov who claims to have seen a Yeti more than once.

England: UFO above Yorkshire filmed by devoted sky watcher

Paul Sinclair of Yorkshire in the UK has been fascinated by UFOs for as long as he can remember but only really got involved in ufology after his first sighting. 'It involved me and a work colleague. It was at a place called Sledmere on the East Yorkshire Wolds (hill country). It was a bright sunny day and the UFO was just hovering above some trees. What we saw was a structured object of huge size hovering above a field.' Ever since then Paul has been regularly gazing at the skies. 'I am the guy who sits in the darkness observing hour in hour out. I am looking for real proof.'

Russia: Amazing UFO filmed near Moscow, video

A UFO was allegedly seen by a number of witnesses hovering above a shopping mall in a satellite town of Moscow in Russia early last month. One lucky witness managed to film the craft with astonishing results. The footage below shows the very clear outline of a disc shaped craft that suddenly vanishes towards the end of the clip.

Fifty years ago sightings of the Loch Ness Monster or 'Nessie' were common and few Scottish locals doubted the presence of an exotic water creature in their locale which might have been the last living member an isolated relic Plesiosaur population. Sightings of Nessie have decreased over the last few years and extensive and thorough scanning of the Loch Ness by scientists and researchers have failed to produce any evidence of Nessie. This has led many to believe, sadly, that this gentle, secretive creature had passed on. Now, astonishingly, frequent sightings are being reported of a creature living in the English Channel that appears, judging by images (picture above, video below) captured by astonished witnesses, to be similar in form to Nessie. This cryptid has been dubbed 'The Channel Creature'.
