OF THE
TIMES
According to a list maintained by DOJ's National Security Division, at least 549 individuals were convicted of international terrorism-related charges in U.S. federal courts between September 11, 2001, and December 31, 2016. An analysis conducted by DHS determined that approximately 73 percent (402 of these 549 individuals) were foreign-born. Breaking down the 549 individuals by citizenship status at the time of their respective convictions reveals that:
-254 were not U.S. citizens;
-148 were foreign-born, naturalized and received U.S. citizenship and,
-147 were U.S. citizens by birth.
I am not anti-Semitic, and the views expressed in this essay are in no way an attack on people of the Jewish faith. My words are a reflection of my experiences on my trip, and my criticism lies with the treatment of Palestinian civilians by the state of Israel, no more and no less.Those words are an insult to the essay itself. They were obviously stapled in by Mensa's minders, the editors. I say this as someone who has been in the editorial business forever (i.e., I don't know it for a fact); but the article has nothing to do with Jewishness.
Comment: Terrorists come from 'over there' - except when they are created 'over here' by the FBI, that is:
The Boston bombings in context: How the FBI fosters, funds and equips American terrorists
In another article we read: By the way, it was the FBI that informed in September that it was investigating an equal number of foreign terrorists as domestic violent extremists affiliated with white supremacists, anti-government and other groups.
