Israeli military spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Peter Lerner announced that the regime's warplanes launched an airstrike on an area near Na'ameh, between Beirut and Sidon, south of Lebanon, during the early hours of Friday.
The Israeli official did not provide further details about the airstrike.
Meanwhile, the Lebanon-based Popular Front of Palestine said the Israeli attack targeted its base. The Palestinian group said the airstrike left no casualties.
Comment: This is the common practice: First a self-inflicted wound in the form of a rocket attack that lands in empty fields causing no injuries, which is then followed by a "justified" revenge attack to which the international community is silent because: "Israel has the right to defend itself". See the pattern?
