Earth Changes
In his most recent Weatherbell Saturday Summary, veteran meteorologist Joe Bastardi looks ahead at the winter weather over the coming weeks across the globe.
What definitely distinguishes Joe from forecasters I follow here in Germany is that he doesn't rely solely on the so-called ensemble models to make his longer term forecasts, but goes way back into the archives and searches for similar patterns that took place even decades ago (analogues) in order to better discern which way the weather is likely to turn in the weeks ahead.
German forecasters like here , here and here like to put out videos once or even twice daily to report on what the many model ensembles are showing, which is something no one really needs a meteorological license to do. Too often you hear these weather pundits suddenly change their 7+ day forecast, in lockstep with whatever the latest ensemble run crunches out. Yet, most of us know that such forecasts are only valid until the next ensemble run because 7 days out the models can and often make U-turns.
"Very concerned" about coming cold
In Joe's latest forecast, he again makes use of analogue years to forecast weeks ahead. I recall a forecast he made some 2 weeks ago warning that early December likely will turn cold in Europe - long before anyone else - basing it on weather patterns seen over past decades. Lo and behold, now the models are finally seeing wintry weather for next weekend.
In his latest forecast, Joe has become "very concerned" about the coming cold, which is going to be a real problem for not only people in the US, but around the globe.
"Mark my word, if this kind of cold shows up, that we've been setting up since the end of summer, and it looks like it at least has merit to consider, there's going to be a blaming on climate change because of the blocking that caused it."
Joe worries that many countries aren't going to have sufficient energy to meet the forecast cold challenges, something politically inexcusable in 2022 with all our modern technology.
The kind of cold and blocking pattern ahead Joe is referring to is something the globe also saw/recorded decades ago and it's not going to be anything new should it come to past.
Joe shows charts that point to what he says "could be a spectacular outbreak of cold". Only now are the models showing what Joe had warned of weeks and months ago: northern hemisphere land masses getting gripped by sub-normal cold:
"That's wild. That's something we saw back in the 1970s," Joe notes.
The 1970s also saw energy shortages, and with similar weather patterns. You'd think our leaders would have learned something from all of it. Unfortunately not. Once again a number of countries risk energy shortages this winter.
Of course no forecast is ever certain. But over the years, Joe has often beat the long term forecasts (14+ days out) made by the national weather offices. Goes to show we can learn a lot from weather history.

It's called the grand solar minimum and it's gonna peak around 2030.
It's pretty darn simple but the Liars say otherwise, some of them actually know they're Lying - Just some - Most of these underlings just say what they're told to and that includes many so-called scientists.
The climate is controlled by solar output and water vapor, period. You can talk about anything else and you're farting in the wind dealing with fractions of fractions of percents.
Guess what, the atmospheric water vapor at the altitude that counts is on a steep trajectory downward. The result is extreme weather due to a nice little negative feedback loop called evaporation and condensation that is presently disappearing. Gee, you won't hear much about this.
Western US is one place gonna get hit hard by LONG term drought.
The climate is controlled by solar output and water vapor, period."Solar output" is a very simplified collection of influences.
Not only does solar output far below and above the range of visible light (and IR) affect the earth, the sun itself is not just floating in empty space. The sun is most likely not a giant gas ball and hydrogen fusion reactor, but driven or at least influenced by EM inputs from the galaxy.
And via such local EM field densities and characteristics (called "solar & galactic current sheet"), both influences can drive longterm cycles of our climate.
Everything can be broken down to electro-magnetics, literally everything. The sun is a focal point of energy, a coalescence. Light is a perturbation of an existing field, of ether... Not a light proton wave/particle traveling through time.
NO AMOUNT OF DOMESTIC OR INDUSTRIAL ADJUSTMENTS will change what's about to happen.
I have many screenshots of weather patterns in the making and the overwhelming evidence suggests a further deterioration of weather across the global due to increased cold air development in both polar regions.
Scarcity doesn't drive prices. Scarcity means you run out. Greed drives prices, and if the government isn't stepping in to cap them, it means they're in on the scam. I hope, wherever you are, that people aren't being passive about this!

Hope you're well and warm. Take care.
Dehydrated vacuum packed ready meals I perfected from wild camping on dartmoor, a yoghost pot sized spag-bold type (home made and better than pot noodles)....
Got weed, skittles, midget gems and vodka.
Head torches, candles, tea lights, batteries, isotope lights, nightlight (small glowsticks) and foil ponchos and
Might use the fire-roll method, cotton wool with ash impregnated and rolled at speed between two planks of wood (one is best "fixed" horizontally)...
I'm ready
Nothing like time in the cold to sharpen ones minds and nothing like a night admonished by your own family to sharpen ones wit.
Nothing like being tormented, tired, in need of comfort with none forthecoming.....nothing like that to sharpen ones wit.
Europe is in need of a night of humility I reckon and I advise that for everyone myself included, but I'll be damned if after giving up my ego I will sacrifice my dignity.
In the end the peasants suffer I reckon, but after that, justice demanded is served and then better times maybe?
Who the hell knows Danny - I don't.
I'm just tired of the same ole shit...and
I'm mostly tired of being lied to since the day I was born and as the goddesses are my witness, there is consequence for one too many and the consequences are fixing to emerge, and god-bless them and may they be seeds of the future.
What more is there to contemplate Danny?

I'm very proficient at making fire in wet and wintery conditions and the fire roll method is a great skill to have as is ferro/mag rods (also use batteries to start a fire).. but i'm never ever without a lighter or 3 and some fatwood/lint or to just feather a stick!
I'm looking forward to the -20s+ hammock camping and no bugs!
The only problem i've ran into with hot water bottles is 4-5-6hrs later when it becomes cold and then the bottle obviously draws heat away.. not so much of a problem in a tent but as I said I hammock camp and its a pain in the arse losing heat from the sleeping bag.
I'm a homebody, so I can't fully appreciate exploring, but I think exploration is critical and of course, that is the password to the pub, or the club, if either opens up in the future.
I play to win and I play fair.
On my deathbed I will die a man lived a life seeking peace and trying to be harmless, but to be meek in the face of so much harmful intent is to die ignorant, and I don't plan on being meek, but we all die eventually....so, to live with principle resolute seems to me to be the best way to live.
If you get a chance, let me know what you found in your explorations, and if you can, come to the pub cause exploring ideas is what that place is all about if it ever gets off the ground....
Best and safe travels,
Ken
I'm gonna transfer all these plants back to our home place and the pepper plant is still holding onto two ghost peppers proud plus a 3rd one late to the game, and my guess is this pepper plant's peppas are hotter than ever......I mean they could be record breakers, but I ain't gonna put them to the test because I'd just assume eat them and make some serious peppa spray with em, and for the peppers, that would be a life well lived!
Ken
It is never too late to prepare.
The elites are cutting down on competition for resources which will be much rarer then. Covid, The Joke and the next series of culling measures....
Consider mentioning this to the deserving.
The GSM will peak in 2050 or so. We are cooling, which means more droughts but also flooding.I think we do not have that much time.
According to some theories based on historical evidence, there is a 12.000 year cycle of events with relatively catastrophic nature. The prevalent explanation is a solar micronova, an event were the sun explosively sheds all the material gathered when passing through a relatively dense and "charged" region. The last of those was the so-called Younger Dryas extinction event, making the mammoth and the woolly rhinoceros disappear, amongst others.
The direct solar radiation outburst supposedly caused the mysterious glas formation on some Egyptian monuments, the city of Petra, and locations in India, which less scientifically minded folks ascribe to ancient nuclear weapons.
I'm guessing if there is more than one person out in the cold they can snuggle together if need be and be insulation for each other....because again, the alternative is what - freezing to death? Screw that.
Best to you,
Ken
P.S. there's been a lot of rain here too. It's raining right now and I have errands to run around town on my bike today. Delightful. I'm guessing we get some weather overlap because in the grand scheme of things on the map I live pretty close to the Buffalo border.
There is a long trail of rain coming out of the Gulf of Mexico starting in New Orleans shooting all the way up north through NC and into the Canada - it is a definite rain event. Squirrels are fine by me, they eat the nuts otherwise soaked into the ground, and have you have ever tried this recipe from old president Garfield - civil war survivor?

I've been wanting to try it for awhile and all I think I need is a net.
Peace!

But I agree, it might be a good idea to get accustomed to some paleolithic techniques, methods and materials. If a global disaster strikes, our intricate system of specialisation and gigantic supply chains would collapse immediately, and leave you with just the things you have at hand.
As a side note, the sudden replacement of the North American Clovis culture by Folsom about 12.000 years ago indicates such a dramatic shift - which coincides with the Younger Dryas extinction event.
I guess something like this is ahead of us.
The best pill bar none is get outside and get you some sun and if you are lucky maybe you get a chance to interact with neighbors and make the neighborhood better - imagine that!
Karma in action - real time.
Plus, and I'm not kidding around, supposedly there are tests known that can predict predisposition to certain cancers and if these tests were in the "medical system", so much harm could be avoided, but there ain't no mammon in that now is there.....so big harma just assume keep living with the motto of: "more mullah, more money, more profit upon the sickness of others" -
I think they are sick and twisted and I want the perpetuators to face justice and be hung up if they are guilty so they can get some of their own medicine back in their twisted faces of harm and fearfulness and let uncertainty drain them down the drain where they belong for the choices they have made. Callous choices made out of servitude to maloch and mammon two ideas fixing to die a hard death - book it or not, but do you want to place a bet either way?
Medicine for profit, the whole profit, and nothing but profit. That along with fiscal schemery are the two root causes of the situation today. It is known. It is time for better ideas.
Even if it was a guy, I'd be willing to cuddle for the sake of not freezing to death, but I'd just assume it be a lady fair.
It's winter in the Ukraine, and although I am not a fan of their government or militia, I pray for the safety of all those Ukrainians who will indeed wake up cold and freezing.
I think big pharma money has, after some washing, gone into creating the situation in Europe and ensuring that nobody anywhere else is prepared for the upcoming freeze.
Wim is amazing. I will not be trying to emulate him. Life would be boring without extenuating circumstances.
Perhaps because I bought a sh*tload of wood and briquettes this autumn ?
