There's a world wide revolution going on. It goes beyond Mississippi, it goes beyond Alabama, it goes beyond Harlem. What is it revolting against? The power structure. The American power structure? No. The French power structure? No. The English power structure? No. Then what power structure? An international, Western power structure.

When they outlaw gardens it's pretty much the end for me. That's where I keep my sanity, and without that, I'm afraid that's not going to be good for anybody. It's really the only thing I have, but I was OK with that. It's what I wanted. I couldn't think of anything else to ask for, frankly. It's got water that just squirts right out of the ground. I love it, and so do the critters. It taught me that grapes and basil go good together, and some birds like aphids better with pepper, among heaps of other weird stuff.
It's been a tremendous tool for home school too. I'm an idiot, but fortunately it seems to have an entire curriculum built right into it. So I just set up some tables and chairs and fastened a white-board to the fence, and I follow it's lead. We made pickles the other day, learned chemistry, history, and math all in one delicious lesson, on top of seed, time, and harvest.
I love my garden.
