As food prices rise, some nations are scrambling to secure food for their people. Meanwhile, calls for more "global governance" to mitigate risk of food shock are accompanied by media pieces that outright blame nationalism, Putin, and Trump for global food shortages -- VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED, they deal in deliberately crafted, devious propaganda, but it needs to be analyzed. Start growing your own food today.
I like this guys channel, I realize it is just a business, so to speak, but he seems like he has something to say and there are so few people beating this drum. If the various world governments actually cared about their people they would be sounding this alarm also, instead of lying to us and constantly bending us over for pieces of eight...
Rowan Cocoan Too many people have no idea how it could get. As a child living in 'tornado alley' in Chicago, I remember numerous occasions where the little Mom and Pop store we lived next to would immediately run out of stuff hours before weather was supposed to hit, and this was back in the days before 'just in time' logistics....it will be *much* worse today...
The wife and I were just discussing our need to create an emergency store of non-perishables. It's so easy to forget since we don't buy non-perishables very often.
Artex Always a good idea, several years ago I started a small stockpile of organic brown rice, which I happen to like eating anyway. I have approximately 150 pounds I keep in sealed gallon size freezer bags, which I then keep in five gallon buckets with lids. I rotate it by eating it, and replenish as I go. Had one batch get bugs in it, but they rinse right out when I prepare it. Grosses the wife out, but I tell her, it still tastes the same, and you may feel differently if (God forbid) something happens to the food supply....
This is why Delamer Duverus writes to those in positions of authority urging them to get to growing food, urging churches to set up gardens, urging everyone to have a backyard garden. He also has told them to bring home all of our military from around the world to get to growing food. Turn our swords into plowshares! That would be solving two problems at one time!
DelamerDuverus That is a good idea, and as people have noted for as long as there have been armies, that those armies 'travel on their stomachs'....remove food from the equation and you have basically unplugged your standing armies...
The spirit of liberty is the spirit which is not too sure that it is right; the spirit of liberty is the spirit which seeks to understand the minds of other men and women; the spirit of liberty is the spirit which weighs their interests alongside its own without bias; the spirit of liberty remembers that not even a sparrow falls to earth unheeded; the spirit of liberty is the spirit of Him who, near two thousand years ago, taught mankind that lesson it has never learned, but has never quite forgotten; that there may be a kingdom where the least shall be heard and considered side by side with the greatest.
