In an interview posted by the New York Times Sunday, Ginsburg said her late husband, who died in 2010, would have told her, "'Now, it's time for us to move to New Zealand,'" if Trump is elected in November.
"I can't imagine what the country would be with Donald Trump as our president," she said. "For the country, it could be four years. For the court, it could be — I don't even want to contemplate that."
However, Ginsburg doesn't want the right-wing to get too excited, she said that she will not be leaving her job "as long as I can do it full steam." But it isn't just her that is getting on in years. She mentioned both Justices Anthony M. Kennedy and Stephen G. Breyer are no longer young.
"Kennedy is about to turn 80," she said. "Breyer is going to turn 78."
No other Supreme Court justice has brought up the 2016 presidential race or the GOP's refusal to hold a vote on President Barack Obama's appointment Judge Merrick Garland to the bench.
"I think he is about as well qualified as any nominee to this court," she said. "Super bright and very nice, very easy to deal with. And super prepared. He would be a great colleague."
Ginsburg said that it's the Senate's obligation to confirm or vote down Supreme Court nominees. "There's nothing in the Constitution that says the president stops being president in his last year." She does look forward to his eventual confirmation, however. "It means that I'll be among five more often than among four," she said.

In that the Republican didn't really have the right to deny Barack's nomination of a Supreme Court judge. Just being obstructionist, for the sheer heel of it, because they could.
All the rest I disagree with. Personally, as a non-American, I would like to see Donald Trump as POTUS. He's clearly desirable, as opposed to Killary-bum. He can't see why the US has to pay for most of NATO. He can't see why the US doesn't get along with the Russian Federation. He doesn't understand why the US has to spend well over half a trillion dollars on 'defence' every year, while the US public debt is well over 19 trillion dollars in the red and fast growing bigger.
I can tell him why. The US economy and employment figures would completely fall apart without the military-industrial-intelligence complex. Which the US tax-payers are supporting. Rather that, than social support, which doesn't really have any return. Such is economics.
