Very Large Quake Swarm

This is an ongoing amassing of large quakes, mag 4 to 7.7 inside of 24 hours time span.
Significant movement of the crust on the Eastern side of the Pacific, and in a specifically small area.
Previously, most of the energy of quakes has been concentrated on the Western side of the Pacific Ocean, in an arc.

Related or just a coincidence ?

A 2.5 mag eq about 56 miles southeast of Seattle towards Mt Rainier [volcano] happened about the same time as this large earthquake "aftershock" swarm. USGS has since removed it.

2.5 mag might be significant...

... when it happens close to Mt Rainier
and about the same time as the large aftershocks.

I wonder why USGS removed it.

Cascadian Subduction Zone.

However, the fact that this cluster of strong Earthquakes, and aftershocks is concentrated just north of the Cascadian subduction zone, and which is capable of quakes of 9.0 or worse is very significant indeed. If these quakes transferred stress to the Cascadia vault system (at more than 300 years since it moved, it's overdue) There is a very real possibility that we are looking at a precursor for the mother of all Earthquakes on the west coast; complete with very big tsunamis devastating coastal cities all around the Pacific Rim.

Not just earthquakes....

The Cascade Range contains several volcanoes and I have read that earthquakes can trigger magma movement. Only a stones throw away geologically. 'Scientists say last year's Great East Japan Earthquake has greatly increased the pressure of the magma chamber underneath Mount Fuji. The pressure is now higher than it was the last time the volcano erupted more than 300 years ago'....

73 aftershocks

There has been 73 aftershocks, all magnitude 4.0 and greater. Rather unusually high base level of aftershock strength. Makes me wonder.

Just a thought... What would the US do if Israel was to remove Mr Trump? Only an odd thought crossing my mind.
