Rinehart then proudly added that African miners are "willing to work for less than $2 per day," reports the BBC (video below).
In a video recently posted on the Sydney Mining Club website, Rinehart, who is worth $18[B], said Australia should emulate Africa, reports RawStory.com.
Rinehart said: "We must be realistic, not just promote class warfare. Indeed, if we competed at the Olympic games as sluggishly as we compete economically, there would be an outcry."
"The evidence is unarguable that Australia is indeed becoming too expensive and too uncompetitive to do export- orientated business. Africans want to work. Its workers are willing to work for less than $2 per day."
Under exchange rates, $2 a day in Australia is about $2.04 a day in the U.S.
Last week, Rinehart wrote a column telling those who are "jealous" of the wealthy to "spend less time drinking or smoking and socializing, and more time working."

... as a viable way to separate the wheat from the chaff.
It is obvious to me that this lady is obediently running a propaganda campaign on behalf of the people who helped make her rich.
Their latest target seems to be the middle class (surprise!). She is actually goading them, which is an interesting tactic. Do they WANT to start a fight with us so they can have a justification for gunning us down?
Her arguments are quite bizarre, but she is rich so she will probably succeed in getting some people to feel bad about themselves. Every bit helps when you're out to destroy a culture.

Good point, and I tend to agree. The agenda has become more blatant as time passes, I can see it reaching that stage, and this might be a snippit of the next stage of tactics for just that.
Maybe Ms. Rinehart would have a change of heart if she was temporarily stripped of all her unearned wealth and forced to work for a year or two at $2.00/day.
Judging by her size, it looks as if the only work she's ever done is to move a fork from the plate to her mouth.
I don't think Miss Piggy is goading them.
Rather, I think she is just incredibly stupid.
