Should I be asked whether I would propose the West, such as it is today, as a model to my country, I would frankly have to answer negatively. No, I could not recommend your society as an ideal for the transformation of ours. Through deep suffering, people in our own country have now achieved a spiritual development of such intensity that the Western system in its present state of spiritual exhaustion does not look attractive.

What I would like to know is why no one is talking about the turd in the punchbowl, the massive fallout from Fukushima? The mother of all dirty bombs
I have been taking a Geiger counter to the grocery store and testing everything and have been watching the level of radiation steadily getting higher. Produce from California in particular show high radiation but it is spotty. I have tested celery for example and found high readings in some bunches and other bunches from the same grower that tested near background. I have found that contamination varies, at the moment.
Moving on to animal products the results are more troubling. When I first heard about the meltdowns I went out and bought 20 pounds of butter and plenty of cheese and eggs knowing these would be soon contaminated with fallout. As this initial supply was exhausted I began to test these items and found radiation early on. Butter from CA is almost always hot, from the mid west US somewhat better but varies by batch. I am still buying expensive aged pre Fukushima cheese. Eggs are a big problem. It was easier in 2011 to find eggs that test at background but now all available here test higher than background. Every time I eat an egg I am eating an radioactive egg.
Buying meat here is risky if you don't have test equipment. I have found radiation in every type of meat tested more consistently than in produce and at higher levels. Radiation bio accumulates, the more an animal eats the more radioactive it becomes. I do manage to find some beef and chicken that's not as hot as hot as most and sometimes find some my Geiger counter tests as clean. These levels are gradually going up as the meltdown continues along with the burning of contaminated debris. Thank you, Japan.
My standards early on were to eat nothing testing above
background radiation levels. In recent months I have had to relax these standards somewhat or I wouldn't be able to buy food anymore. Everything is contaminated to one degree or another. This will be a die off event, those it doesn't kill outright will suffer disease and have their lives shortened. The next generation is where the damage is really going to show.
So far I have heard nothing from the gov. warning us, nothing at all. The PTB only seem interested in the health and welfare of billionaires, absolute power and of course the wars, endless wars...
