When I watched John Stossel on Fox Business, He had the man who done Candid Camera for years on and off. The host of Candid Camera tell the audience on all his spoofs on camera might be funny. He also exposes the reality of people will not question authority even doing the most absurd things. You be the judge and you tell me. Is it scary people will not question authority? Watch and enjoy.

Things out

of the ordinary, the expected, often so confound people that belief is challenged, like 911, to the extreme.

As example, here is a authoritarian spoof with Terrorist overtones, similar to Candid Camera shown here, from 'Just for Laughs' called "No Anti-Aircraft Missile Zone". This spoof was filmed in Quebec, it is a bit juvenile, but the results are just the same; people bewildered.

What a World to live in

Its a sad commentary regarding our world when we are not allowed to have any fundamental trust in another human like ourselves, and we are subjected to almost nonstop deception, lies, and humilation. We are forced to live in a world where everything, everyone, and all information should be questioned without any regard for the source. I am not questioning "what is" an STS world from the bottom up. Fourth density sounds like a refreshing change.

In my favorite episode...

...of Candid Camera, they placed a STOP sign in the middle of a block. Cars came to a screeching halt. The drivers looked around, with obvious confusion showing on their faces.

In a similar vein, some decades back, long before cheap video cameras, a friend of mine and i purloined a sign from an auto repair center. The sign was on a metal pole, embedded in a concrete-filled tire. We loaded it into the back of his pickup, placed it on its side and drove downtown.

We placed it curbside, in front of a bar frequented by prostitutes.

The sign read, "Wait here for vehicle pickup."

We drove by the following day, and the sign was gone.

I don't regard my youth as being misspent. I regard it as being very well spent!
