The lorry-driving terrorist who killed 84 people when he drove through Bastille Day revelers "like a bowling ball" smirks inside the truck - just days before his murderous rampage. Evil Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel, 31, posed for the sick selfie inside the lorry's cab just three days before it knocked over scores of people as they watched a firework display in Nice. The ISIS-inspired French-Tunisian held a bizarre pose alongside his unidentified friend as he sat at the vehicle's steering wheel.

In a second photo Lahouaiej-Bouhlel smirks as he stands in front of the 19-tonne truck alongside a man who is wearing a Paris Saint-Germain football shirt.

A source in the police investigation said the killer's mobile is "loaded with pictures like this" from the days before the attack. The other man in the pictures is in custody.

It's never easy for dads when their daughters start dating. So you can imagine this dad's surprise and anger when he found out his 13-year-old daughter was posing as a 20-year-old on Tinder.

But instead of confiscating her phone, grounding her and calling it a night, Paul Mellers took things one step further. He updated the fake Tinder bio with a more accurate description accompanied with a very angry photo of himself.

"My name is 'Megan' and I am really 13 years old," read the updated bio. "I lie to guys on Tinder until my dad finds out. "Right now I'm f—ing grounded. All guys who have been messaging me should block me or my daddy will be reporting them to the police."

Mellers also included a photo of Megan's birth certificate to discourage any suitors.

No word on whether anyone swiped right on Meller's grumpy mug, but we're certain this isn't the last daughter-dating encounter he'll have to deal with.

Despite the post-Brexit market rally, fund managers have gotten even more wary of taking risks.

The S&P 500 has jumped about 8.5 percent since the lows hit in the days after Britain's move to leave the European Union, but that hasn't assuaged professional investors. Cash levels are now at 5.8 percent of portfolios, up a notch from June and at the highest levels since November 2001, according to the latest Bank of America Merrill Lynch Fund Manager Survey.

In addition to putting money under the mattress, investors also are looking for protection, with equity hedging at its highest level in the survey's history.

Woman-hating propagandists unite! Fox hosts consider leaving with accused sex abuser Roger Ailes to form competing network

megyn kelly
At least one top talent inside Fox News has confirmed to Breitbart News that a major talent meeting among various different hosts is scheduled, and they are considering leaving with Roger Ailes to form a new network to compete with Fox.

"Everyone here hates Gretchen and Megyn," the talent said in a brief phone interview, adding that hosts from Fox and Friends and throughout the primetime lineup from the co-hosts of The Five to Special Report's Bret Baier to Greta Van Susteren to Bill O'Reilly, Shepard Smith and Sean Hannity are planning to band together and potentially execute contract clauses that allow them to leave if Ailes is driven out.

That being said, if this group—Baier, Hannity, Van Susteren, Smith and O'Reilly—can stick together and effectively negotiate as a bloc with whatever other resources and talent they have, they could strap together enough leverage to block Kelly. But that shows how powerful Kelly has become inside a network where most of her colleagues despise her.

Ailes has come under fire amid unsubstantiated allegations from Gretchen Carlson, the former Fox anchor, and now Megyn Kelly of The Kelly File that he allegedly sexually harassed them.

Comment: Ailes is a creep. See also: It speaks volumes the types of people that are bending over backwards to support him. Birds of a feather...

Cosmetic surgery madness: Kardashian-obsessed man spends £20k to look like celebrity idols

James Holt

Kylie and Khloe Kardashian's biggest fan spent £21,000 on cosmetic surgery to look more like his idols, including sculpted lips and generous derrière.

James Holt, 22, splurged £10,000 (US$13,000) on his puffed-up lips alone. He tops up his filler every two months to keep them in shape.

Five years on from his first cosmetic surgery, Holt says he plans to have even more work done, including the removal of six ribs to achieve a Kardashian-like hourglass shape.

Comment: This story speaks volumes about how far gone society is at this present moment! A striking example of worshipping the Cult of the Body: Huge numbers willing to go under knife to alter their appearance

Baton Rouge shooter Gavin Long, Marine veteran, told those close to him he suffered from PTSD

Gavin Eugene Long, baton rouge police killings
Gavin Long, the man who killed three law enforcement officers in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, before a SWAT team officer shot him dead -- told friends and relatives that he suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder, a source involved in the investigation told CNN's Chris Cuomo.

Long joined the Marine Corps in 2005, worked as a data network specialist and served in Iraq before being discharged as a sergeant in 2010, according to the U.S. military.

Long had filled a prescription for Ativan, an anti-anxiety drug, as recently as June, said the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity. He also had prescriptions for Valium and the sleep aid Lunesta, the source said.

It wasn't immediately clear whether anyone had diagnosed him with PTSD. CNN has filed a Freedom of Information Act request with the military to obtain records about Long's service. Under Defense Department rules, health records that might include any information on Long's mental health are considered protected, even though he is dead. The records are part of the criminal investigation.

Valium, like Ativan, is a benzodiazepine -- a class of medication with sedative properties that are prescribed for anxiety, insomnia and other conditions.

Homeless teen in Georgia sleeps in tent after biking 6 hours to college

A homeless teenager found sleeping in a tent outside a Georgia college after biking six hours to get there is receiving an outpouring of help and support from across the country.

Media outlets report police officers discovered 19-year-old Fred Barley on Gordon State College campus last weekend.

Barley told officers that he rode his little brother's bicycle more than 50 miles from Conyers to Barnesville to register for classes. He planned to stay there until the dorms opened in August.

Instead of ticketing Barley for trespassing, the officers put him in a motel room. Word of Barley's story traveled fast. He was offered a job at a local pizza shop.

Barnesville resident Casey Blaney set up a GoFundMe page for Barley, which had raised more than $40,000 as of Friday morning.

Comment: Acts of kindness can spread by reminding us of our own capacity for caring. If the officers arrested (or worse) him for trespassing, we would be reading a different story.

Police seek ban on anti-Islam Britain First party from entering mosques

Police are seeking to have the leaders of anti-Islam political party Britain First banned from visiting any mosque in England or Wales or even entering parts of the town of Luton for the next three years. The party is known for its "Christian patrols," mosque invasions and anti-Islam protests in Luton. Bedfordshire Police have sought a High Court injunction against the group's leader, Paul Golding, and his deputy, Jayda Fransen, following"harassment" of communities in Luton.

In a statement, chief superintendent David Boyle told the Luton Herald & Post that the force is attempting to get the injunction "due to concerns that their presence in these areas could increase the possibility of disorder and antisocial behavior." The application, to be heard next month, will ask that Golding and Fransen be banned for three years from "entering any mosque or Islamic cultural center or its private groups within England and Wales without any prior written invitation."

It also seeks to ban the pair from entering Luton's Bury Park without police permission, and that they give at least two weeks' written warning should they wish to enter Luton town center. They would not be allowed to enter Luton more than once every two months should any consent be given.

Comment: The police are right to uphold the Freedom of Association of Muslims and their wish to not have to endure harassment from the Britain First hate group. Britain First's 'right to exist' is based on a pathological worldview that victims actually have no rights and no freedom to associate or not associate with whom they wish.

Global elites must heed the warning of populist rage

statue liberty crashed

For every complex problem, there is an answer that is clear, simple and wrong." HL Mencken could have been thinking of today's politics. The western world undoubtedly confronts complex problems, notably, the dissatisfaction of so many citizens. Equally, aspirants to power, such as Donald Trump in the US and Marine Le Pen in France, offer clear, simple and wrong solutions — notably, nationalism, nativism and protectionism.

The remedies they offer are bogus. But the illnesses are real. If governing elites continue to fail to offer convincing cures, they might soon be swept away and, with them, the effort to marry democratic self-government with an open and co-operative world order.

What is the explanation for this backlash? A large part of the answer must be economic. Rising prosperity is a good in itself. But it also creates the possibility of positive-sum politics. This underpins democracy because it is then feasible for everybody to become better off at the same time. Rising prosperity reconciles people to economic and social disruption. Its absence foments rage.

The McKinsey Global Institute sheds powerful light on what has been happening in a report entitled, tellingly, Poorer than their Parents?, which demonstrates how many households have been suffering from stagnant or falling real incomes. On average between 65 and 70 per cent of households in 25 high-income economies experienced this between 2005 and 2014. In the period between 1993 and 2005, however, only 2 per cent of households suffered stagnant or declining real incomes. This applies to market income. Because of fiscal redistribution, the proportion suffering from stagnant real disposable incomes was between 20 and 25 per cent. (See charts.)
