A synthesis of Whitehead's process philosophy and Grof's transpersonal psychology, Buchanan's ideas provide a framework for understanding not only the nature of the psychedelic experience and other altered states, but also the nature of consciousness itself and the structure of the cosmos.

The complexities of the consciousness of not knowing if dreaming a dream about knowing not what consciousness is but what conciousness was a second ago and how that trancsends the astral projection of thought, or how much ergot my ryebread has to what state of consciousness my dream about the said theory can wake, once we know this we can stimulate the chakras and give our pineal glands a sort of frequency bath, but it all depends on whether the theory about theorizing creates the same dream and whether our combined consciousness can resonate in unification upon the universal vibrations of life itself, what say you?
