syracuse frat
Syracuse University Chancellor Kent Syverud announced the fraternity was suspended over videos with racist, sexist content. Syverud described the video, as racist, anti-Semitic, homophobic, sexist and hostile to people with disabilities.

Comment: Wow. That's pretty much all of 'em. Guess it's "to the gulag" for the hate offenders...

More than a dozen Theta Tau fraternity members were "removed from academic participation" after a video emerged showing members participating in racist, homophobic and anti-Semitic skits, according to school officials.

The Daily Orange published a video that shows people in Theta Tau's house miming the sexual assault of a person with disabilities. The recording shows a person sitting in a rolling chair while three people block him from view and appear to mimic forcing him to perform oral sex.

"He's drooling out of his mouth because he's retarded in a wheelchair," one person says. "So the hole is already very lubricated."

During a separate recording of one of the videos an individual forces a person to his knees having him repeat an "oath," that includes racial slurs.

"I solemnly swear to always have hatred in my heart for n*ggers, sp*cs and most importantly the f*ckin' k*kes," the person on his knees repeats.

In a statement, the organization said the video depicted a performance of an "uneducated, racist, homophobic, misogynist, sexist, ableist and intolerant person."

The video depicts people raping a person with disabilities. You can hear laughter as someone says the person in the rolling chair is "brain-dead from being chronically whipped."

"Yankee is totally unaware of this light rape that's occurring," one person says.

Another person tries straddling the person in the chair, but the person jumps out of the chair yelling, "What the f*ck is that thing? What the f*ck you're uncircumcised, you f*ck."

Warning- Graphic Video

"Out of an abundance of caution and ongoing concern for our campus community, Provost Michele Wheatly and Dean of Students Rob Hradsky notified the 18 students of their removal from academic participation, effective immediately," Maldonado said. "Alternative class and study arrangements will be made for these students as the judicial process moves forward."

Comment: If there's one thing more offensive than frat-boy antics, it is boilerplate university administration jargon. "An abundance of caution"? Pass the sick bag.

The university permanently expelled the fraternity chapter on Saturday, warning of possible pending individual disciplinary actions against the students involved.

"Our investigation is ongoing and others may be implicated in the coming days," Maldonado said Sunday. "We have not and will not release the videos that are a part of our investigation, he added, noting that his office refused to be "party to the distribution of this hateful and hurtful content."

The students involved were all "present at the sponsored event" where the video was filmed, the central New York school's chief of the Department of Public Safety, Bobby Maldonado, said in a statement Sunday.

Theta Tau posted a statement on its website apologizing for the video, calling it a "satirical sketch."

"Each semester our new members are given the opportunity to write and act out a skit, in order to roast the active brothers. This event was never intended to be centered around racism or hate. This year, one of these brothers is a conservative Republican, and the new members roasted him by playing the part of a racist conservative character," the university's Theta Tau chapter said in a statement. "It was a satirical sketch of an uneducated, racist, homophobic, misogynist, sexist, ableist and intolerant person.

"The young man playing the part of this character nor the young man being roasted do not hold any of the horrible views espoused as a part of that sketch," it added.

These are colleges with students that are voting age. The liberal rhetoric being pushed against conservatives has gone way too far. Conservatives do not have the platform, (i.e. mainstream media/social media), that liberals have.

The outlandish verbal attacks on conservatives further diminish the true conservative ideology, and with no platform for rebuttal, these are the viewpoints that the majority assumes as fact. This must stop!
