To your request of my opinion of the manner in which a newspaper should be conducted so as to be most useful, I should answer, 'by restraining it to true facts and sound principles only.' Yet I fear such a paper would find few subscribers. It is a melancholy truth, that a suppression of the press could not more completely deprive the nation of its benefits, than is done by its abandoned prostitution to falsehood. Nothing can now be believed which is seen in a newspaper. Truth itself becomes suspicious by being put into that polluted vehicle. I will add that the man who never looks into a newspaper is better informed than he who reads them; inasmuch as he who knows nothing is nearer to truth than he whose mind is filled with falsehoods and errors. He who reads nothing will still learn the great facts, and the details are all false.

Looks like there is such a thing as 'Liberal' Fascism as well as right-wing fascism. Not a surprise, really.
The censorship served its purpose. People are now truly divided, and cannot seem to debate issues, merely take sides.

Some may already be aware of this information, but to me it explains so much of what we are seeing in the world today, where the CIA has become pervasive in all areas of the world
He explains the roles of some of the alphabet agencies, how the CIA has infiltrated almost every sphere of US life from politics, major universities, agriculture and yes healthcare. He talks about assassinations, regime change
in countries, how the CIA initially instigates the process. Given that the information is limited to the 40- 60's era, but seems to me that the CIA has just gotten bigger and badder over the years. Remember that this was during the so called "Cold War Era" Seems nothing has changed.
There is so much more information that he offers in the interview.
My conclusion after listening to this interview is the CIA has become all encompassing throughout the world and world governments that it's not accountable to anyone, in fact it's a rogue form of law and government unto itself. Here is the link

In fact it makes me think that the comment by Carl Rove, something like "We are the Reality Creators" can't remember the exact words, is not far off the mark.Because if one really listens to this interview that is exactly what they are doing, creating there own reality on a massive world wide scale in every facet of world society and culture.
This interview was given over 25 years ago. It explains how and what we are seeing now. Remember, if we don't learn from the past we are doomed to repeat it.
The question I have for myself is, was Fletcher Prouty, a psychopath how could he participate and be a part the covert operations that he discusses without being aware of the devastation that this caused to innocents.
Did the death of JFK and the fact that a Coup d'état had taken place in the US that was his mission to defend, be the instigator of these revelations. Anyway that's what I think.
