Police dashboard camera footage has captured the moment that two trains crashed into a car that officers were pursuing. Miraculously, the driver survived the crashes.

Police in Utah were pursuing a car when the driver drove onto rail tracks and was hit by an oncoming train.

Officers can be seen going up to the car to check on the driver after the collision, before another train's horn can be heard blaring in the distance.

The policemen quickly move away from the tracks as another train collides with the car, pushing it down the railroad.

Quite miraculously, the driver of the Mercedes car only suffered a broken arm in the collisions.

"There was already a southbound train going across 2600 south, and she hit that train while it was crossing. While officers were trying to get her out of her car, a second southbound train hit her vehicle," Detective Adam Osoro of the Woods Cross Police Department said.

"The vehicle sustained heavy damage, so in this case she's very lucky to still be with us," Detective Osoro said.
