To mark the 40th anniversary of a landmark Supreme Court decision recognizing abortion rights for women, Liberty Counsel's Mat Starver took to the airwaves to accuse Planned Parenthood of being a "killing machine" in the tradition mass-murdering dictator Adolf Hitler.

"Tomorrow is the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade," Pastor Starver noted on Monday. "A decision in which seven of the nine justices ultimately discovered some so-called right in the Constitution that no one else has ever discovered, that abortion is permissible through all nine months of pregnancy. And from that moment till now, we've slaughtered 55 million children."

Co-host Matt Barber opined that the Obama administration's health care reform law meant that taxpayers would be "in the business of enriching people who make a living killing innocent, unborn children. They are getting filthy rich off of it."

"It's like enriching Hitler, to give him more money and forcing people to fund Hitler to slaughter innocent people," Starver agreed. "He killed a lot fewer people and certainly it was atrocious in the way that he did it. And it's repugnant to even think that you would force people to fund a Hitler kind of killing machine or Pol Pot or some of these other genocide tyrants. And yet, that's what we're doing here in America."

"It is a racket, it is a scheme under Obamacare that is just an extension of this president's radical commitment to death," he concluded.

Contrary to the claims of many conservatives, the Affordable Care Act is prohibited from funding abortions and may actually mean that fewer women have abortion coverage.

An NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll released on Tuesday found that a majority of Americans believe that abortion should be legal always or most of the time, and 70 percent opposed overturning Roe. v. Wade.
