.. I think they can safely herewith declare that all the billions of dollars spent by NASA on building useless robot toys (that get stuck in sand) on Mars is an absolute waste of tax payers money.. because for all their so called propaganda of advancement and contribution to better life of mankind they were surprised by a killer rock out there that can potentially end life on Earth in an instant. So when will they announce (or they may not, and simply they will go and hide in bunkers themselves) that a Extinction Level Event rock is headed our way within 24 hours. Shame on NASA for total disregard for human life.
Also what's with the size of this rock? is it 9 meters or 45 meters? the difference could mean a flashy meteorite entry versus an impact by a sizeable rock.
