This year's planned military spending is $700 billion, while other areas including healthcare, education, and infrastructure are on the chopping block. The decision came after a long struggle between lawmakers and the Pentagon saying military cuts will threaten national security. Journalist Chris Hedges says the decision was made under severe pressure from some lobbying circles.

As usual the PTB continue on the same circuit. I do wonder how much time the US has until it does reach its limit and "offically" collapse. its just a pity to observe all the chaos and destruction taking place on the BBM. I know this is one giant school and learning is why we are here, but i so wish change could take place in a benefical way for once. oh well, i already have a good seat set up for the show if nothing else.
