I would certainly expect that the study of any of the martial arts, whether or not it includes actually becoming proficient in the techniques thereof, involves orders of magnitude more objective rigor, and is therefore much more worthy of an academic degree, than the entirely BS SJW-"feelz"-related subjects that have proliferated in the US's so-called "higher education" system in the past decades.

The bujinkan folks are NOT the only lineage, just one of the more open ones.
They're the first to admit that ninjutsu is an umbrella term where the martial arts are only a third of what is covered. Survival, first aid, psychology, spirituality are all part of it.
Fun stuff but does come with a high 'ouchie' factor 8)
