2 stabbed
Two people were rushed to the hospital after they were stabbed with a "large knife" Friday night, police said.

The stabbing was reported around 8:36 p.m. inside the Civic Center station, said BART police Lt. Steve Koontz. The suspect fled up to the street and has not been located.

Information on the victims' condition was not immediately available.

Witnesses reported that the suspect used a machete to attack the victims, according to various social media accounts.

BART police closed an exit after the attack, but the station remained open. No service delays have been reported.

The San Francisco Police Department is investigating.
