A report today on "Uprising" had a segment on the water issue in India. They key cause is transnational corporations like Coca Cola. There is no law against corps taking ALL the water they want out of India's water table. Wherever a plant has been built, several years later they experience a drought, desert like conditions stated in the article. It's a critical issue for India as they report they will run out unless something is done.
