OF THE
TIMES
Today as never before we need to comprehend the course, logic, and path of the process of history. Every day we need to make decisions that will affect future generations. It has become obvious that no single nation, confession, social class or even civilization can solve these problems on its own. We increasingly have to listen to one another: Europe and Asia, Christians and Muslims, White and Black peoples, citizens of modern democratic states and places where traditional society survives. The key is to understand one another correctly, avoid hasty conclusions, and acquire the true spirit of tolerance and respect toward those with different value systems, habits, and norms.

This information is such an incredibly significant piece of the puzzle that simply must be extrapolated.
Things to ponder:
In light of this information, what does it mean for women taking botox to disengage to orbital nerve (nerve around the eyes, "crows feet"). Or, more significantly, what does it mean for a generation of children brought up by images of the mother (nurturer/connection to survival) that has a dismantled orbital nerve. What does it mean to the nervous system collectively, when we are exposed to images via media and in real-life of the female figure that is void of the primal, mammalian signals of safety?
This gets me repondering on the images of women in the media - noooow I see the connection of the doe-faced models that have graced the front pages of magazines for over a century. The primal and subliminal messages are many fold. First I think of is that, the primal message is that they are in fright and alert to danger. Danger of who and what is another question.
It is also said that it's ok and even attractive for men to have crows-feet. What's going on? The message is that men have nothing to fear; women do, or aught to.
Men are taking botox now too. What does this mean for the nervous systems of a generation growing up in a world of adult care-takers that cannot register or communicate the primal emotions of safety?
Just my thoughts, and efforts to connect the dots.
@ 16:50 quote from video:
"The real issue for society is: how mobilised can you keep people so they're productive and mobilised pushing levers doing studies... how much pressure can you put on them before they shut down."
I suspect that this "real issue" has long-been resolved and quantifies for some components of the upper social power heirarchies.
in Dr. Porges' Polyvagal Theory, there is a thread about it here: [Link]
By the way, the vagus nerve can be stimulated by breathing techniques such as Éiriú Eolas: [Link]
Sure sweet of you to think of me. I haven't done Éiriú Eolas officially, yet. I have however over the years used uji breathing in yoga and meditation as a practice and these days it's incorporated into my general breathing by actively making a point of activating my vagus. Purring like a cat and snoring to myself is kind-of the outcome. Both quite acceptable behaviours past a certain age.
I will get on to Éiriú Eolas really soon though, as it's still definitely on my list of to-dos
Thanks for the reminder
