A man, living in Australia, has decided to make a break by selling his entire life on eBay, the Internet auction site.

After his divorce, Ian Usher, from Darlington in Western Australia, decided to sell his house, friends and job.

The 44-year-old has said he hopes to earn enough money to walk out of his front door with his wallet in one pocket and a passport in the other, with 'nothing else at all.'

About five hours after bidding opened on Sunday, the highest offer was just over US $620,000

Up for auction is his three-bedroom home and everything inside it, including his car, motorcycle, jet ski and furniture.

His auctioned friends have agreed to meet the successful bidder and his employer has said she will give a two week trial, leading to full-time work if the bidder is suitable.

Mr Usher said 'On the day it's all sold and settled, I intend to head to the airport, ask where the next flight goes to, get on and see where life takes me from there.'
