An international group of researchers has discovered a new tool that can reveal a key pathology of Parkinson's disease in brain and body cells.
The identification of the new biomarker, known as abnormal alpha-synuclein, opens a new chapter for research, according to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
The foundation led the coalition and its landmark clinical study, Parkinson's Progression Markers Initiative (PPMI). The findings were published Wednesday in the scientific journal The Lancet Neurology.
The tool, also known as the ฮฑ-synuclein seeding amplification assay, is able to detect pathology in spinal fluid both for those diagnosed with the disease and individuals who are at high risk of developing it but have not yet been diagnosed or exhibited clinical symptoms. The laboratory testing can confirm the presence of abnormal alpha-synuclein, which is detected in most people who have Parkinson's with what the foundation said was "astonishing accuracy."
Of those who participated in the testing, 93% were proven to have abnormal alpha-synuclein.
"We've never previously been able to see in a living person whether they have this alpha-synuclein biological change happening in their body," Dr. Todd Sherer, chief mission officer at The Michael J. Fox Foundation, said in a statement.
A protein normally found in the nervous system, alpha-synuclein โ like amyloid in Alzheimer's disease โ can start to misfold and clump, damaging neurons and causing Parkinson's disease to develop.
It has previously been possible to confirm the presence of the clumps solely through postmortem analysis. If abnormal alpha-synuclein is present in a spinal fluid sample, clumps form and the dye the sample is prepared with lights up.
The foundation notes the new tool "takes advantage of a telling characteristic of alpha-synuclein that is pathologic," causing nearby, normal alpha-synuclein to misfold and clump.
The scientists tested some 1,123 samples of spinal fluid, showing the test was abnormal in fewer than 5% of people without Parkinson's.
The foundation said there is "tremendous promise in optimizing" the assay to measure the amount of alpha-synuclein present.
Foundation co-founder Michael J. Fox said:
"I'm moved, humbled and blown away by this breakthrough, which is already transforming research and care, with enormous opportunity to grow from here. I'm so grateful for the support of patients, families and researchers who are in it with us as we continue to kick down doors on the path to eradicating Parkinson's once and for all."Optimized assays would also detect abnormal synuclein through a blood draw or nasal swab.
The protein ฮฑ-Synuclein has previously been linked genetically and neuropathologically to Parkinson's disease.

I remember reading years ago that Michael J. Fox was a diet soda chain drinker. You know, the diet soda loaded with Aspertame and something like 92 symptoms including neurological damage leading to Parkinson-like effects.
It seems that instead of spending millions researching a disease caused by human stupidity and greed, a little humility and willingness to change might go a long way to help MJF and thousands like him.
I'm not saying that all Parkinson's is caused by toxins, but how sad it would be if they have been chasing a cure based on a completely wrong assumption.
How come only fauci types are in the field ( for the most part)
Why do they always look for some protein, gene, etc that has a high statistical correlation with a certain disease, instead of.. you know.. trying to understand actual cause and effect relationships? Oh right, because most of them are lifestyle/behavioral choices for which they can't sell a drug.
And Nicolas Cage's film releases causing pool drownings, the second one here : [Link]
... trying to understand actual cause and effect relationships?
Lately, I came to the conclusion that most probably hypnotisation is involved.
Not in a metaphorical sense, but literally. Which, according to all I know, requires the mental consent of the hypnotised. Which baffles me even more ... :O
Can you clarify how hypnotisation is used?
I do believe now, that most "diseases" are psychosomatic, i.e. caused by the mind and subconcious. By ideas you form about yourself and the world. That and the body trying to accustom itself to lifestyles it wasn't exactly made for (though it is quite adaptable) - and responding with pain if it cannot adapt further.. sort of like a message to the user to change something in their life.
Keeping this in mind (pun intended), it shouldn't be hard to implant the idea of one's body not working right into the subconscious. Sort of like the movie Inception, or PTSD. Then, if it sticks long enough, it becomes part of one's identity. In this case Michael J Fox has invested so much of his life and livelyhood into Parkinsons, he would lose almost all of his identity if he got cured. So I'd say it's probably impossible for him now.
Did you try to talk to normies during the plandemic, and convince them to be cautious with "experimental injections" ?
I did, and I either got a "how dare you conspicary theorist", or total ignorance. Especially the latter confused me - it was as if they did not hear me at all. Zero reaction, zero response.
Or have you tried to a discussion of politics and elections ? With a regurgitation of "our democracy and values" tropes in response ?
Hardly anybody counters if you list facts about the corruption and authoritarian dictatorship. Again, zero reaction.
I think it this hypnosis is the result of indoctrination ("education") and permanent media consumption, especially in audiovisual form. Especially after researching patents in this area (advertisement, electronics, psychology), I suspect current electronic mainstream media contain more than just "hidden satanic symbolism", embedded in the audiovisual carrier.
One part of the conversation went something like this: He completely misconstrued what I pointed out, to try and fit part of the information into his worldview. Other things he flat out didn't believe, even after seeing sources, like hospitals not overwhelmed, no increase in all-cause mortality (at least here in Germany), extremely low deadlyness of covid even according to official sources, and other things.
So, considering the hypnotised angle, yes it makes sense that people voluntarily let themselves be lulled by media and institutions into an 'idyllic world'-worldview. It's easier than to accept that the people in charge do not have everyone's best interest in mind. It's also easier to give away responsibility for their own health.
And they will defend their worldview because it's painful to admit to themselves(and potentially others) they've been wrong. The sad part is that at the same time, they defend their enslavers and politicians and doctors that put everyone's life at risk for personal gain.
Hypnosis puts it away.
I have seen stage performances were people did not recognize their spouses or children, or wer eating soap under hypnosis, thinking it was chocolate.
Thinking of it, I hypothesize that "education" serves to break down the barrier of individual volition. And the permanent media stream serves as hypnotist.
If you still have TV (or YT with unblocked ads), do an experiment. Record an ad, them watch it first with sound turned off, and then listen to the audio only (no video). You will be surprised how ridiculously stupid it suddenly looks and sounds ...

While mainstream denouces this as "pseudoscientific nonsense", it is technically plausible. The brain is also an electrial device, or else there would be no EEG. And dealing with IT systems almost daily, 10mW of transmission power can get you across miles with some wireless standards.
So, it is not at all implausible that animal can detect your presence even that way.
For us humans, there was no such thing lately. Except perhaps for that IQ test over the last two years ...
While I am not privy to their plans (including contents and intended effects), I had assumed a protracted action, i.e. mostly mid- and long-term effects. Else the cause would be too obvious - at the moment it is only to us.
I'm sure you are aware of the bell curve (based on the Gaussian distribution), which accurately describes many natural events and effects. I would expect that average (bell curve maximum) at about 5 years.
Not based on many facts, but trying to put myself in their shoes ... I would call it God's / Natural law.
And on the upside, they will receive a Darwin Award on the other side ...
