divide and conquer
Banksy is an England-based graffiti artist, political activist and film director of unverified identity. A newspaper investigation in 2008 and a study using geographic profiling in 2016 suggest that this highly influential street artist could be Robin Gunningham.

Banksy's work has inspired and uplifted the masses while simultaneously driving the establishment insane. His paintings and quotes have been reproduced countless times and in countless ways, leaving this artist's impression of peaceful political and social commentary on billions.

One particularly powerful quote, which is often attributed to Banksy is more relevant now than ever.
We were all humans until race disconnected us, religion separated us, politics divided us and wealth classified us.
We need only look at the political rallies of the 2016 presidential candidates to view this staggering level of divide which has been, quite literally, beaten into us by the establishment.

Just this week, we've witnessed Donald Trump supporters chant, "N**gers, go home!" at one of the billionaire's speaking events in North Carolina. Not only did the audience launch verbal assaults at peaceful people, but some of them got violent.

The level of divide in this country appears to be at an all-time high in spite of all the progress of the past several decades. Americans are pitted against each other over superficial arguments that serve as little more than talking points for pundits on the left and right sides of the establishment.

While Americans bash each other over silly issues of right vs. left or Islam vs. Christianity โ€” those at the top, get richer, more powerful, and more tyrannical.

We have been divided, and we are now being conquered โ€” and political correctness and racism have served as the catalysts.

The meme below, using this powerful quote, visualizes the problem accurately which is why it resonated with so many people and went viral.
