There are seven forest fires, 356 hectares in total area, in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, according to the reports made on August 7.


The majority of fires broke out in Boguchansky District, as Alexander Kitura, the chief of the forest protection department of the regional forestry agency, said. There are 5 fires, 291 hectares in area, in the district now. In addition, two forest fires occurred in Evenkia and Kezhemsky District of the region - 50 and 15 hecrates respectively.

4 fires, 294 hectares in area, were put out over 24 hours. 13 fires, 1,329.3 hectares in area, were extinguished too.

113 firemen, 2 tractors and 4 fire engines are being involved in fire fighting now.
