29-year-old Wyton, Cambs resident Dave Nunley suffers from a food phobia that started when he was a toddler, in which he only eats cheese - 17 stone of grated mild cheddar annually. The only exception is a rare salt and vinegar crisp.

"I've never had a hot meal in my life - not even hot cheese. My throat goes all tight and I start sweating when I smell it. I am desperate to change," said Nunley. Doctors are worried he will suffer from a failing nervous system.

"If I could push a magic button for it all to change, then I would do so" said the father of two. Dietician Nigel Denby said "With this type of diet he is very short on protective antioxidants, vitamins and minerals which we get from fruit and veg."
