A woman allegedly Maced a California couple for not wearing masks while eating at a dog park โ€” a disturbing incident caught on videotape.

The injured pair, Ash O'Brien and hubby Jarrett Kelley, said the lady, who was wearing a black mask, ambushed them with a can of the burning substance after ripping them for not donning face coverings and eating at the Dusty Rhodes Dog Park in Ocean Beach outside San Diego on Thursday afternoon.

First she "automatically started saying stuff about us not wearing a mask when we were social distancing โ€” there was no one near us," O'Brien told the local ABC-TV affiliate.

O'Brien said the lady also took them to task for eating at a picnic table at the park while they were there with their 3-month-old puppy, claiming it was against the rules.

"If we knew there was a no-food policy, we wouldn't have brought it into the park," O'Brien told the TV station.

The angry woman soon stalked off โ€” only to come back a few minutes later and attack them, O'Brien said.

"She just came up without saying anything and just stuck the Mace can right in front of my face," O'Brien said. "My husband, being a good guy, walked in front of her and was like, 'Hey, calm down please don't do this' โ€” and then she grabbed him and just starting macing him. She used the entire can on him.

Police have identified an armed protester who was shot and killed by a person who had driven into a crowd at a demonstration against police violence in the Texas capital.

Austin Police Chief Brian Manley said Garrett Foster, 28, was shot and killed Saturday night as demonstrators marched through downtown Austin.

Manley said the driver called 911 and reported the incident.

That person was taken into custody but later released. The driver's name wasn't immediately released.

Police are investigating what occurred between Foster, who they said was carrying an AK-47-style rifle during the protest, and the driver.

Manley said officers heard "two separate volleys of gunfire" and made their way to the crowd where they found Foster suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Foster was taken to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Coronavirus could be 'here forever' with constant need for vaccinations, says top fear-mongering scientist

coronavirus
One of the world's leading immunologists has warned MPs that Covid-19 could be "here forever".

Sir John Bell, a distinguished scientist and regius professor of medicine at Oxford University, said that the pathogen underpinning the novel virus may never be eliminated.

Giving evidence at a session of the Commons Health and Social Care Committee, Sir John, 68, added that any potential coronavirus vaccine "is unlikely to have a durable effect that'll last for a very long time".

"So we're going to have to have a continual cycle of vaccinations and then more disease, and more vaccinations and more disease." Sir John told the Committee, chaired by former health secretary and Tory MP Jeremy Hunt.

Sir John, knighted for his services to medicine in 2008, used polio as an example of how difficult it can be to completely suppress a disease.

Comment: Brilliant! Let's make rushed vaccines that become obsolete for a virus that both easily mutates and has an infinitesimally low mortality rate even using inflated statistics. Surely, that will help us through the pandemic that has only ever existed in peoples' deluded nightmare that they mistake as reality.

Thousands protest outside Israeli PM Netanyahu's official residence as unrest rises over economy, handling of coronavirus

Huge crowds calling for the resignation of Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu rallied outside his home in Jerusalem on Saturday amid growing discontent over the government's Covid-19 response, high unemployment, and corruption.

More than 5,000 people gathered on Balfour Street, now a site of frequent anti-government demonstrations, according to Haaretz newspaper, making it the biggest of several protests this week. Demonstrators also rallied elsewhere in Israel.

Comment: Netanyahu's apathy, corruption and incompetence towards his own is so obvious, to so many, that even a portion of the Israeli public has had enough of the erstwhile IDF "hero".

The real NHS crisis: 250,000 nurses consider quitting because of low pay

Nurse
© GettyEXCLUSIVE: The worrying stats come days after Chancellor Rishi Sunak was slammed for failing to give frontline NHS staff payrise - despite rewarding other key workers
Up to a quarter of a million nurses are now considering quitting their jobs because of pitifully low pay.

Many of them erupted in fury days ago when the Chancellor Rishi Sunak announced wage rises for 900,000 public sector workers but left them out.

Boris Johnson and Matt Hancock have been quick to praise nurses during the pandemic - but the warm words have not been matched by more pay.

Nurses are threatening to leave in their droves unless the Government quickly comes up with significantly more than the 2.8 per cent rise promised to doctors.

Comment: The government's treatment of the NHS likely reflects it's intentions to sell it off to the highest bidder, in the meantime it will abuse it for publicity purposes all the while running it into the ground:

Best of the Web: Government-mandated masks and vaccines are unreasonable, unethical, unconstitutional, and unhealthy. I absolutely refuse to participate in either

coronavirus
What I'm going to say is based on my experience thus far and the research I do. I've noticed that there's a grave disparity between what we see on the mainstream news - as well as some independent, online sources - and what many other doctors and scientists who are not promoted by the MSM are saying.

The government and their affiliated "experts" have gone back and forth on whether masks actually prevent the spread of Covid. They have gone back and forth on whether asymptomatic people can transmit Covid. They have gone back and forth about whether it is actually airborne or not. How are we to actually believe what we're told?

I've seen video after video after video of doctors and field experts saying that when they test people in hospitals six times and all six are positive, that all six are counted as new cases. I've seen doctors and nurses saying that they are made to put suspected patients in the same rooms as patients who have tested positive. I've seen videos of people saying they've submitted unused test swabs in and they all tested positive. I've seen many reports about Florida alone saying that all the clinics "messed up" by only including positive tests in their press releases. I've seen reports about animals and fruit testing positive when submitting human test samples in other countries.

Pushing edgy people to the fringes of the internet silences free speech and silos discourse

edgy content creators
The goal of removing the opposition entirely from mainstream platforms is to censor discourse and to close off avenues of debate or inquiry.
It is virtually an axiom of intellectual discourse that voices considered too dangerous or disruptive to be allowed on television, radio, and in print tend to maintain a high demand for their material. The goal of removing the opposition entirely from mainstream platforms is to censor discourse and to close off avenues of debate or inquiry.

Another effect is that discourse will be siloed, relegated to echo chambers, and neither side of the division line will hear the views of the other. The progressive left has entirely forgotten that free speech is essential and foundational to any healthy democracy.

Gavin McInnes' Censored TV and the emergence of the social media alternative, Parler, are two platforms created as a way to combat YouTube and Twitter. Their aim is to give a platform for voices that have been forced out of the mainstream for what the progressive left would consider to be insensitive, extreme, or just plain dangerous.

Burning Christianity: Europe's churches are under attack

church burn
Conspiracy theories aren't something I take seriously. But when flames engulfed Notre-Dame cathedral in Paris on the evening of April 15, 2019, my mind momentarily wandered down that path. After all, attempts to incinerate, vandalize and rob Christian churches and shrines have become so commonplace in France over the past three years that one could be forgiven for concluding that something even more sinister was afoot.

In 2017 alone, according to France's Interior Ministry, 878 acts of vandalism were committed against Christian places of worship, cemeteries and shrines. That's an average of nearly two and a half sites being targeted every day.

Government officials play down the problem. As one French bishop told me, they believe that directing attention to church burnings and theft could encourage copycat behavior. But, he added, they also fear publicity might fuel an existing concern among the population: that the state isn't fully in control of law and order. This perception is underscored by realities such as no-go areas for the police in some French cities and ongoing gilets jaunes protests. Most French newspapers have acquiesced in this silence. That's why you need to turn to organizations like the Vienna-based Observatory on Intolerance and Discrimination against Christians in Europe to discover what's going on.

Comment: The reaction to the Notre Dame arson shows that a significant proportion of people still feel, deep down, despite claims that society is now dominated by the irreligious, that these spaces represent a spiritual and cultural heritage that is as important, likely even more so, than any museum:
