Some of you may roll your eyes, but there are many people in Wisconsin who claim to have seen something unexplainable.
Is it a werewolf? Bigfoot? An unidentified wild animal?
First, throw out all of your Hollywood preconceptions. It doesn't change from a full moon, and no one's shot it with a silver bullet.
But hundreds of people right here in Wisconsin are saying there's something out there.
If there is something out there, popular culture has done it no favors.
Most people scoff at the idea, but some claim there are many rational witnesses who've come face-to-face with the irrational.
Reports in Wisconsin date back to the 1930s. And they keep coming.
"All I know it was something I have never seen before."

Shape of objects: One spherical, One bright orange light, and other indescribable lights
Weather Conditions: Clear
Description: While facing the eastern sky over the Bay of Islands in Kerikeri, my friend and I were sitting in our car staring at the night sky. A bright orange light appeared over the tree line low in the sky and suddenly turned on and off for hours. Eventually, these bright orange light began to move in fast and erratic directions just above the tree line for about five minutes and then suddenly vanished. Shortly after, we noticed two lights higher in the night sky, not too far apart, that began to move in unison with each other. They were teetering almost, as one moved up, the other moved down, and so forth. This happened for hours until they became stationary, and the orange light from before appeared again above the tree line. Then the light on the ground disappeared, and the two lights in the sky began moving in unison again. This happened for hours, and we began to scan the rest of the night sky, discovering 2 other pairs of lights, of the exact brightness and separated by the same distance, teetering identically to the first we saw.

A UFO replica in the parking lot outside of the Kecksburg UFO Store in Kecksburg, Pa. NASA said it can find no records mentioning an unidentified object that may have landed in western Pennsylvania nearly 44 years ago.
Pittsburgh - NASA said it can find no records mentioning an unidentified object that may have landed in western Pennsylvania nearly 44 years ago.
The Coalition for Freedom of Information, a volunteer group that seeks to bring more credibility to the subject of UFOs through journalism and freedom of information quests, sued NASA in 2003 seeking information about the event in Kecksburg. The group's federal lawsuit, backed by the SyFy Channel cable network, was settled in October 2007 when NASA agreed to pay $50,000 in legal fees and search some of its records.
But that nearly two-year search ended in August and yielded nothing, Leslie Kean, a New York-based freelance author and documentarian who directs the all-volunteer CFI, told The Associated Press on Wednesday. "I still believe, from all the work and the research and everything, that something came down" from the sky, Kean said. "But what it was, I have no idea."
Comment:
It's possible NASA records exist in another office, have been lost or are classified, she said. But if classified records exist, NASA is supposed to say so under federal freedom of information regulations, and that hasn't happened, Kean said.
Let's not forget that the government agencies have long known that if you don't want to leave a paper trail then it is best not put on paper, or just
file it in the garbage can.
Of course, that doesn't mean that NASA isn't capable of lying through its teeth, either. And the different governmental departments and agencies have made an art of
losing things.
So have your pick as to just what has happened to those papers they said must have been lost. It all amounts to the same thing - no records.

Reports of Sasquatch, a name coined in the 1920s, were documented in many ways before that specific label was used.
How about Mowglis?
Obviously, this name is linked to The Jungle Book, a collection of stories written in 1894 by Rudyard Kipling. The best-known of them are the three stories about the adventures of an orphan "man cub" named Mowgli, thus a feral human, who is raised by wolves in the Indian jungle.
Moving the term from the 19th century to the early 20th century, it gave newspaper reporters a catchy moniker. It refers, in general, to wild people. It was in widespread use, it appears, in British Columbia.

Location of Sighting: Cottingley
Date of Sighting: 14 November
Time: 6 am and is still there
Witness Statement: I've seen this thing 4 times now over the last 9, 10 days, right now this red object is hovering over Cottingley, its been there for over 3 hours and its still there now.
All it's doing is slowly moving from left to right, it does not go up or down, at first I thought it might be a helicopter , but would it have enough fuel to stay up for over 3 hours??.

Location of Sighting: Shrewsbury, Shropshire
Date of Sighting: 14/11/2009
Time: 1810 onwards
Witness Statement: My partner called me out to the garden to look at a light clearly visible in the night sky north of Shrewsbury. It was very bright and seemed to be hovering and every now and again and move in a circular movement. We both agreed that the light was made up of possibly three parts and one of the parts was clearly a red colour. Watched this continuously for approx 45 minutes during which time several aircraft passed through the same part of the sky.

Shape of objects: White glowing sphere
Weather Conditions: Very clear
Description: Driving eastbound down SR 224, observed white sphere shaped object that was first thought as a meteorite, came at a high rate of speed across the horizon but changed direction and stopped, hovering in the sky. Within minutes there were six to eight blinking lights in a formation, that seemed to be tracking/following the glowing sphere. The object took off to the east and the other blinking lights followed it out of eyesight. Within ten minutes there were 8 to 10 planes circling at a high altitude in the general vicinity, which continued for approx 2 hours after original sighting.

Weather Conditions: Clear, calm
Description: At approximately 12:40 A.M. I received a call from my brother to join him outside. He pointed at an object to the Southeast floating in the sky, an object I had seen only a few days before. The object was to far away to recognize any shape. It appeared there was one large white light in the middle of the object, and a rotating pattern of red, blue, green, and white lights around it. The object seemed to hover in place with slight movements left to right or up an down on occasion. The middle white light would occasionally dim out and then reappear.

Shape of objects: Star, triangle
Weather Conditions: Mostly clear
Description: I was watching t.v. on the floor with my husband and kids in our theater room, we have very large windows in this room. As I turned my head I saw an object gliding in the sky. The object had green and red lights. It seemed to be in the shape of a triangle or star, there were several points that were visible as it moved from our back yard to the front. Our neighbors had recently told us they saw this object, so my first reaction was to run and get them. By the time I got to the neighbors house the object had vanished from where my husband was looking at it from the yard, with his sister. It appeared suddenly again at the front of the house. Our other neighbor saw it too. It vanished once again and we decided to keep watch in the back again incase it returned. Another neighbor who had seen this same described object, came over to watch with us and the house two doors down saw from their back window. The object appeared once again, but this time several planes were flying over the house, they were not commercial airplanes.
