SOTT Focus: The Theory of Evolution is Anti-Science

Darwin
If at least this part of Darwin's theory is correct, then neo-Darwinian scientists today are an endangered species.
In their desperate attempts to discredit anything that even remotely makes sense, Darwinists like to ask the question, "Is ID (Intelligent Design) science?", to which, of course, they answer "no" based on a random ridiculous claim of the day. But that's not the correct answer. The correct answer is, "Who the f**k cares?!?" If you had one theory that happens to be correct but isn't "scientific" (whatever that means) and another one that's perfectly "scientific" but happens to be wrong, you'd have to be an idiot to pick the one that's wrong. And by even just asking the question "Is ID science?", Darwinists are designating themselves as being exactly this kind of idiot. They'd rather be wrong than acknowledge the existence of any kind of intelligence.

So if you let somebody convince you that the question of whether ID is "science" is important, you've already been duped and have little chance of figuring out the truth about anything. You're not concerned with what's true or correct. You're concerned with something completely irrelevant, and while engaged in a dumb argument about nothing, you're completely missing the point.

But since this question is often being raised, let's look at just how scientific evolution itself really is.

SOTT Focus: Objective:Health #30 - Gene Tech - What the Heck!?

O:H header
Welcome to GMO 2.0, a new generation of genetic modification that promises even more than the previous GM technologies. Scientists using the "second generation" of genetic manipulation technology have used gene-editing to alter the DNA of breed of cattle so that they supposedly do not grow horns. At around the same time another group of scientists claim to have injected human cells into monkeys to create chimeras, who they say have increased intelligence. Earlier this year a group of Chinese researchers claimed to have deliberately gene-edited monkey clones with a mental disturbance.

Most will remember the Chinese scientist last year who shocked the world claiming to have genetically modified human embryos to be immune to HIV infection. What was shocking was not the science, which many experts claimed was underwhelming and sloppy, but the simple fact that he had undertaken this endeavor under the radar.

Few people realized then, but this incident has brought it home, that all this is taking place almost entirely without any serious health and safety regulation, nor have the ethical implications been fully explored. GMO 2.0 makes the process of genetic modification much simpler and, as a result, much more in reach for those with less training and understanding. It really seems like we're on the precipice of home genetic modification kits, designer babies and all the other horror stories science fiction has been warning us of for decades.

Join us on this episode of Objective:Health as we discuss the implications of this new gene tech. Do we really want to be on this train?

SOTT Focus: SOTT Earth Changes Summary - August 2019: Extreme Weather, Planetary Upheaval, Meteor Fireballs

SECS august
Heavy rain, hail, and destructive floods killed hundreds and displaced millions around the world in August.

India was the most affected country with more than 200 dead and generalized devastation. This happened along a rare summer snowfall in Himachal predicting an early winter season.

Super-typhoon Lekima hit central China with 221km/h wind gusts and heavy floods, leaving 56 dead and forcing the evacuation of millions.

Spain was also battered by extreme weather this month, consisting of floods, hail and even tornadoes. Meanwhile, wildfires out of control in Gran Canaria forced the evacuation of almost 10,000 residents.

Wildfires raged across the globe, but as the media focused on the Amazon and blamed man-made Global Warming, wildfires in central Africa were ignored... even when they were three times larger. Despite the hype, Africa saw at least 70% of the 10,000 fires burning worldwide on the average day in August, though the number of fires is consistent from year to year.

What was actually extraordinary were the 21,000 square miles scorched by fires in four Siberian regions, likely ignited by lightning and spread by strong winds.

All this and more in this month's SOTT Earth Changes Summary...

SOTT Focus: Islamic State Weapons in Yemen Traced Back to US Government: Serbia Files (part 1)

Yemen
This still image taken from the Islamic State video in Yemen shows mortar shells 82 mm M74 HE lot 04/18 from the Serbian arms factory Krusik along with mortar shells from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
While US President Donald Trump boasts about the defeat of Islamic State in Syria, US government-purchased weapons appear in the hands of Islamic State terrorists in Yemen.

Recently I anonymously received explosive documents from the Serbian state-owned arms companies Krusik and Jugoimport SDPR, including e-mails, internal memos, contracts, photos, delivery schedules, and packing lists with lot numbers of weapons and their buyers. Among the leaked documents I also received scanned passports of arms dealers and government officials from the US, Saudi Arabia and UAE. They have been involved in the trafficking of at least 3 million pieces of Serbian weapons (mortar shells and rockets) to Yemen and Syria in the last three years.

Tracking the lot number of these Serbian weapons I was able to identify and trace mortar shells in the hands of Islamic State terrorists in Yemen back to their buyer - the US Government.

These documents expose the biggest lie in US foreign policy - officially fighting terrorism while secretly supporting it.

Comment: Another great find by Gaytandzhieva. Now we see why the US remains in Afghanistan: it has become a major hub for spreading Islamic terrorism... by the US.

By now, the proof that terrorists - Muslim or otherwise - have been kept well-stocked by parallel logisitics run by the US and its allies is damning: For more from Dilyana, see: Also check out SOTT radio's interview: The Truth Perspective: Interview with Dilyana Gaytandzhieva: Pentagon Biological Warfare And Arms Trafficking to Terrorists

SOTT Focus: MindMatters: T.C. Lethbridge And The Psi-Science Of The Pendulum

pendulum
© SOTT
Do we have access to a 'superconscious' part of our minds - that can become, under certain conditions, and with much observation, more or less conscious, or at the very least, made use of? Are there technologies which can, like a psi-powered geiger counter, help us to find things in our environments - and perhaps even assist us to navigate life - from other levels of awareness? Not content to retire as honorary Keeper of Anglo-Saxon Antiquities at the Cambridge University Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology, T.C. Lethbridge devoted the latter part of his life towards answering these questions, and searching for the answers to questions that materialists aren't even aware of.

On this week's MindMatters, we discuss Lethbridge's last and most famous book, The Power of the Pendulum, and take a look at Lethbridge's experience using the pendulum, his thoughts about human perception, as well as his well-informed opinion of orthodox science and the ideas that seek to limit the very types of explorations into mind that he devoted many years to uncovering.

SOTT Focus: Objective:Health #29 - Drop That Burger! The Amazon is on Fire!

O:H header
Starting last week, pictures of the burning Amazon rain forest flooded social media as people were lead to believe the 'lungs of the planet' were in jeopardy. News headlines were quick to point the finger at you, as usual, because you eat too much meat.

But it was rather quickly discovered that everything being reported on the nature of the Amazon fires was wrong: they aren't at a record-setting levels, they aren't caused by people eating too much meat and the Amazon isn't even 'the lungs of the planet'. Many of the pictures featured in widely shared memes, shared by the likes of celebrities from Leonardo DiCaprio to Emmanuel Macron, aren't even recent photos, and some of them aren't even of the Amazon.

Why is such a seemingly carefully constructed disinformation campaign coming out now and why is it getting so much traction? And why pin it on meat-eating?

Join us on this episode of Objective:Health as we dig in to the great Amazon fire disinformation campaign, debunking some of the widely spread rumors and examining what's really going on here.

SOTT Focus: Long Before Epstein: The Unsavory History of Intelligence Agencies Providing Protection to Child Sex-Trafficking Rings

Jeffrey Epstein’s compound in the Virgin Islands
Jeffrey Epstein’s compound in the Virgin Islands
The alleged use of sexual blackmail by spy agencies is hardly unique to the case of Jeffrey Epstein. Although the agencies involved as well as their alleged motivations and methods differ with each case, the crime of child trafficking with ties to intelligence agencies or those protected by them has been around for decades.

Some cases include the 1950s -1970s Kincora scandal and the 1981 Peter Hayman affair, both in the U.K.; and the Finders' cult and the Franklin scandal in the U.S. in the late 1980s. Just as these cases did not end in convictions, the pedophile and accused child-trafficker Jeffrey Epstein remained at arms' length for years.

"For almost two decades, for some nebulous reason, whether to do with ties to foreign intelligence, his billions of dollars, or his social connections, Epstein, whose alleged sexual sickness and horrific assaults on women without means or ability to protect themselves... remained untouchable," journalist Vicky Ward wrote in The Daily Beast in July.

The protection of sex traffickers by intelligence agencies is especially interesting in the wake of Epstein's death. Like others, Epstein had long been purported to have links with spy agencies. Such allegations documented by Whitney Webb in her multi-part series were recently published in Mintpress News.

Comment: We can keep wishing that the authorities will investigate, but until some kind of fundamental regime change takes place in the western world, it aint happening. In case after case, the authorities shut down investigations through a combination of lawfare and outright murder. The victims who speak up, if they survive, are thrown into prison for 'lying'. At least 30 (THIRTY) people - including victims, eyewitnesses, judges, lawyers, police investigators and others were 'suicided' in the aftermath of the Dutroux case. God knows how many more thousands of children have been 'processed' through that network alone in the intervening decades.

These satanists - for want of a better term - are, for now, untouchable.

SOTT Focus: Now They're Coming After What we Eat

Weird Al
At Harvard, there was once a University. Now that once noble campus has become a luxury asylum for the terminally feeble-minded. Walter Willett, one of the inmates (in his sadly incurable delusion he calls himself "Professor of Nutrition"), has gibbered to a well-meaning visitor from Business Insider that "eating a diet that's especially high in red meat will be undermining the sustainability of the climate."

Farewell, then, to the Roast Beef of Old England. So keen are we in the Old Country on our Sunday roast (cooked rare and sliced thickish) that the French call us les rosbifs. But the "Professor" (for we must humor him by letting him think he is qualified to talk about nutrition) wants to put a stop to all that.

As strikingly ignorant of all but the IPCC Party Line as others in that hopeless hospice for hapless halfwits, he overlooks the fact that the great plains of what is now the United States of America were once teeming with millions upon millions of eructating, halating ruminants. Notwithstanding agriculture, there are far fewer ruminants now than there were then.

The "Professor" drools on: "It's bad for the person eating it, but also really bad for our children and our grandchildren, so that's something I think we should totally, strongly advise against. It's — in fact — irresponsible."

It may be that the "Professor" - look how fetchingly he adjusts his tinfoil hat to a rakish angle - does not accept the theory of evolution. If, however, that theory is correct, the Earth is somewhat older than the 6000 years derived by the amiably barmy Bishop Ussher counting the generations since Abraham.

Comment: There is an incredible amount of money to be made keeping people in the dark about what helps keep them healthy, and what doesn't. While the vast majority of healthcare workers, academics and bureaucrats probably mean well and are the unwitting tools of corporate interests and their insidious groupthink, it remains for each of us to do our own thinking and research on a subject that most individuals seem willing to abdicate responsibility for.

As the author mentioned, "hardly a month goes by without a new double-blind trial, epidemiological study or meta-analysis in the medico-scientific journals demonstrating beyond doubt that diabetes and a range of other diseases are directly and principally attributable to the misguided guidelines recommending that carbohydrates should be the staple diet."

And with that, see this small sample of the research that's been coming out on this now very rancorous topic:

SOTT Focus: World Extreme Weather: Is it Man-made, or Does it Stem From Something Else?

snow avalanche
Our planet seems to be in a growing crisis in terms of agriculture and crop production related to unusual weather shifts. Many reports in recent months use the term "extreme weather" to describe record heat across Europe this summer, record flooding in US Midwest farm states, or record drought across India and major parts of Africa and China. Parts of the US Midwest are undergoing the worst growing conditions since at least the 1980s. In the UK the weather has been ruinous to the grain harvest there.

The crucial question to ask is whether we can assume, as many do, that this is all part of man-made global warming, today renamed climate change, or whether it can be caused by something quite different: The periodic cycles of solar activity that in the past months have entered what astro-scientists call a "solar minimum." If it is due to the latter, we are spending huge sums on addressing a wrong problem - in fact, trillions of dollars.

Until this July large parts of India were suffering record drought. Chennai reservoirs were down to 0.2% of capacity over the past two years as a severe heatwave saw 99% less water than a year ago. Acute water shortages have forced thousands to flee their villages. Though in early August above-average monsoon seasonal rains relieved the situation in some parts, so far the rainfall is far from adequate to restore empty reservoirs across India.

Comment: ...and that came after all-time record flooding in Chennai, south India just 4 years ago.

In China severe drought has left about 800,000 hectares of crops affected in northern China's Hebei Province with rainfall some 55% below normal. That comes as devastation of China's pig population from the deadly African Swine Fever spreads and crops across the country are being destroyed by a plague of Army Fallworm infestation that is resistant to most weed-killers.

Comment: It's a bit more complicated than just 'what mood the Sun is in' (something(s) unknown out there is setting him off!), but it's certainly 'in the ballpark' to frame the current extremes people are experiencing in the context of natural forces that are several orders of magnitude more powerful than human activity.

The entire breadth of focus on man directly causing this - from the media mirage of 'consensus' science claiming 'we know exactly what is happening and thus exactly what to do about it', to farcical street protests in which people demand their govts 'do what the media says should be done about it' - amounts to one great big global session of 'screaming at the sky'.

This is way bigger than us.
