SOTT Focus: The Myth of Incompetence: DNC Scandals Are a Feature, Not a Bug

dnc chair oops
The Iowa caucus scandal has continued to get more egregious by the hour, with new revelations routinely pouring in about extremely suspicious manipulations taking place which all just so happen to disadvantage the campaign of Bernie Sanders in the first Democratic electoral contest of 2020. By the time you read this article, there will likely have been more.

Following the failure of an extremely shady app developed by vocally anti-Sanders establishment insiders which reportedly was literally altering vote count numbers after they were entered, Black Hawk County supervisor Chris Schwartz shared the election results in his county on Facebook so the public could have some idea of what's going on as the Iowa Democratic Party (IDP) slowly trickles out the results of the caucuses.

Twitter says it'll censor deepfakes, cheapfakes and basically anything else it wants to ahead of the 2020 election

deepfakes
Just days after banning Zero Hedge, Twitter has announced it'll also be implementing new rules to address deepfakes and "other forms of synthetic and manipulated media" as we head closer to the 2020 election.

Because we can't have a repeat of 2016, right?

The company said it is going to not allow users to "deceptively share synthetic or manipulated media that are likely to cause harm," according to CNBC. The rules go into effect after March 5 this year, where the company will now label some Tweets containing synthetic or manipulated media.

Social media can, and will, have a profound effect on the state of the election heading into November this year. Altered media often shows up, with candidates words sometimes parroted or mocked in certain ads that seek to undermine them. Lawmakers have been trying to figure out a way to hold social media companies accountable for the spread of misinformation.

According to CNBC, last month the "House Subcommittee on Consumer Protection and Commerce held a hearing where experts shared warnings of both deepfakes and potential over-regulation of tech platforms that host them."

The pornification of America: How young girls are being groomed by sexual predators

child abuse kid little girl
© gettyimages / Fairfax Media
"The brutal reality is that a predator doesn't have to be in the same room, building, or even country to abuse a child. And that's what they're doing — subjecting children to psychological and sexual abuse." — "I'm a 37-Year-Old Mom & I Spent Seven Days Online as an 11-Year-Old Girl. Here's What I Learned," Medium
What can we do to protect America's young people from sexual predators?

That's the question I keep getting asked by people who, having read my article on the growing danger of young boys and girls (some as young as 9 years old) being bought and sold for sex, want to do something proactive to stop these monsters in their tracks.

It is estimated that the number of children who are at risk of being trafficked or have already been sold into the sex trade would fill 1300 school buses.

While those who seek to buy young children for sex come from all backgrounds, races, ages and work forces, they do have one thing in common: 99% of them are men.

This is not a problem with an easy fix.

Leftists blame Russian bots for fallout from Iowa caucus shambles

Putin laughing
Trump proven right.

Some leftists are blaming "Russian propaganda accounts" for the embarrassing fallout from the Iowa caucus, fulfilling a prediction by President Trump that they would do precisely that.

The results from last night's caucus were delayed to to a "reporting issue" related to an app called Shadow, the owner of which Tara McGowan is a Mayor Pete Buttigieg supporter and is married to one of his advisers.

Buttigieg declared victory last night despite internal polling showing he had lost to Bernie Sanders.

This prompted the hashtag #MayorCheat to trend on Twitter and that in turn prompted numerous hysterical Buttigieg supporters to claim the hashtag was a creation of Russian-controlled bots.

"When will the Democrats start blaming RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA, instead of their own incompetence for the voting disaster that just happened in the Great State of Iowa?" asked President Trump in a tweet.

Baca is being sentenced Friday, May 12, 2017, for obstructing a federal investigation into abuses and corruption in the nation’s largest jail system.
Former Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca was behind bars at a federal prison in Texas Wednesday, serving a three-year federal prison sentence for obstruction of justice and lying to the FBI.

The 77-year-old former sheriff, who has Alzheimer's disease, was sentenced in May 2017, but had remained free pending appeal.

Last month, however, U.S. District Judge Percy Anderson issued an order directing Baca to surrender to the U.S. Bureau of Prisons on or before Feb. 5 -- Wednesday. The date marked the 21st day after the issuance of the mandate filed by the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals on Jan. 15.

'Why are you voting for Putin?' Gabbard supporters report harassment at Iowa caucuses

Gabbard sign
© Reuters/Rick WilkingThere's a metaphor here...
A Tulsi Gabbard supporter was physically attacked with a Sharpie marker and called a Russian terrorist after voicing support for the candidate at an Iowa caucus, one of several reports of Gabbard supporters being "abused."

Caucusing for the Hawaii congresswoman can be hazardous to one's health, if reports from Monday's botched vote in Iowa are any indication. Journalist Dack Rouleau accidentally triggered a supporter of billionaire candidate Tom Steyer into a full-on Jekyll-and-Hyde transformation culminating in physical attack when he casually mentioned that he would be voting for Gabbard.

Comment: The writing is 'on the hand', for now. Soon it will be all over the wall. The Dems are a bonafide disaster (where Hillary wants them?). You can almost smell it comin' in the air - savior Clinton arising from the deep. Is she behind these blatant attacks on Gabbard supporters, considering that pesky little lawsuit she's been dodging lately?

Shanghai sports authorities have recommended the suspension of all sporting events in the city due to the coronavirus outbreak, casting further doubt on whether the Chinese Grand Prix will take place.

The fourth grand prix of the season is scheduled for April 19 in Shanghai and the viability of the race will be discussed by Formula One bosses this week amid speculation it could join the growing list of sports events already postponed or cancelled.

The Shanghai Sports General Association, in a notice on Wednesday, instructed all sporting bodies to suspend sport events until the threat is over and "formulate a plan for epidemic prevention to avoid internal infections".

Documentary: The irreparable damage Soros NGOs inflicted on Russia's school curricula

"A large influence on the new education curriculum was brought by NGOs related to George Soros. It is no surprise that there have been numerous attempts to smuggle so called "sexuality lessons"

The following film, Lessons of Standardization, was created by Komov, Ambassador of the World Congress of Families to the U.N., and his wife Irina Shamolina (photo below), who together have been pioneering homeschooling in Russia, making use of tested home schooling methods in the U.S.

A transcript of the video is included below.

Comment: The pernicious influence of "education reform" has not gone unnoticed in America. The backlash from the State has been severe:

France's most inventive forms of protest: Liberté, égalité... créativité!

Ever since the yellow vest protests kicked off in 2018, the French government has been besieged by weekly, increasingly creative protests as the populace expresses its fury with flair.

The pension reform protests followed, set into motion by President Emmanuel Macron's attempts to consolidate 42 separate pension schemes into a singular, points-based plan. Over the past several months, everyone from hospital and transport workers to teachers, lawyers, and firefighters have taken to the streets across France to protect their pensions and their futures in ever-more creative ways.

Comment: Note the lack of Western media coverage or grudging biased mention of the protests, despite the fact that France is a key part of the West:
