Empire's regime-change tool, NED, endorses BLM protests, calls for 'racial justice' and to 'improve our democracy'

Comment: The below paragraphs are a statement put out by known imperial agitator and CIA outfit, the National Endowment for Democracy. Anyone paying a little attention to that organization's activities around the globe should be concerned that it is now affiliating itself and supporting the current BLM protests. When the NED enters a country, destabilization and chaos follows, all to the benefit of the US empire.

The brutal killing of George Floyd by a police officer in Minneapolis has provoked an outpouring of anger and rage that the United States has not seen since the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. more than fifty years ago. Our democracy is being tested as never before in the memory of most living Americans. We will not overcome this crisis and begin to heal our nation unless the four police officers responsible for the killing of George Floyd are prosecuted to the full extent of the law, and unless America commits itself fully to the principles of racial justice and equality for all citizens.

The NED's mission of supporting people around the world who are fighting for democracy is based upon the same values of freedom and human equality that inspired the movement for civil rights that ended the Jim Crow system of legalized racial segregation and discrimination in the United States. Those values are rooted in the American creed, and it was by appealing to them that the civil rights movement achieved its historic breakthrough. But much more needs to be done to carry forward the struggle to end racism. By doing so, we will be more united and stronger as a country.

Joe Biden won enough delegates on Saturday to become the Democratic presidential nominee in November's election against President Donald Trump, NBC News projects.

To win the Democratic Party's presidential nomination on the first ballot at the party's convention, a candidate must receive support from a majority of pledged delegates โ€” at least 1,991 of the total 3,979 pledged delegates available.

Heading into the weekend, Biden had already amassed a projected 1,970 pledged delegates after winning a series of Democratic primaries on June 2. He now has 2,000, according to NBC News.

Not satire: MSNBC hires disgraced FBI lawyer Lisa Page as legal analyst

Lisa Page and Peter Strzok
Lisa Page, the former FBI lawyer who worked on former special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation, has joined MSNBC as a legal analyst, the network announced Friday.

Page was thrust into the national spotlight after text messages were leaked between her and FBI counterintelligence agent Andrew Strzok in which they criticized President Trump. Strzok was removed from Mueller's team, while Page had already returned to the FBI.

She swiftly emerged as a chief GOP boogeyman, with Republicans saying her texts with Strzok were evidence that elements of the Justice Department were trying to impede Trump's presidency.

Page later filed a lawsuit against the FBI and Justice Department, claiming the agencies unlawfully released to the press text messages between her and Strzok in December 2017 for "multiple improper reasons."

Comment: Trump's response:

And some choice tweets:

The MSNBC hacks who made this decision probably actually think this is a big win for the "resistance". If so, they have about as much self-insight as Lisa Page, so she'll fit in perfectly.

Creepy Uncle Joe is promising trillions in reparations for Black Americans if he makes it to the White House... But would he pay up?

Top Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden is being asked to pledge that he will endorse $14 trillion in compensation for the slave years if elected. Will he make the pledge, only to brush it aside once he's in the White House?

If ever there was a time for the US black community to demand reparations for being subjected to the centuries-long slave trade, now is certainly it. In the wake of George Floyd's death at the hands of a white cop, the country is convulsing from the fires of protest from coast to coast. At the same time, a large chunk of the population, when not adjusting their surgical masks, is hand-wringing over their purported 'white privilege'. To further complicate this nationwide nervous breakdown, we are just five months away from what promises to be the most contentious and momentous US presidential election in recent memory.

Enter Joe Biden, 77, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, who may be tempted to turn on the money hose to pacify Black Lives Matter and end the looting, burning and general chaos that has shaken the United States to its very foundation. To this end, it didn't come across as a subtle form of bribery when Delaware State Senator Darius Brown strongly suggested that Biden do what he can to fund reparations.

Comment: Biden's mental state is scandalous. That his family continues to let him run for the highest office in the land should lay them open to elder abuse charges. But maybe its a ruse? A puppet is no use if he is unable to follow orders. Is Joe the loss-leader to bring in a candidate at the Dem convention that would not otherwise be approved by the Democratic base? Killary's been making moves for months. Nothing coming out of his mouth with respect to his "presidential campaign" should be taken seriously. Bridge is ascribing much more agency to this addled-headed cutout than he is capable of. He is only parroting what his handlers tell him, when he isn't going disastrously off-script.

Lawless: Washington pressures International Criminal Court over US & Israel war crimes

There is apparently no limit to what the United States and Israel can get away with without any consequences. The United States has been waging devastating economic warfare against Iran and Venezuela while also blaming China for a global health crisis that it is unwilling to help address due to its withdrawal from the World Health Organization. Israel meanwhile is planning on illegally annexing significant parts of the Palestinian West Bank in July, with a green light from the Trump Administration, and no one in Europe or elsewhere is even interested in initiating serious sanctions that might lead to the postponing of that decision. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has even stated flatly that the remaining Palestinians who would be annexed will not become Israeli citizens - they will instead be "subjects" of the Jewish state with no guaranteed rights or privileges.

The American Establishment is totally committed to the principle that the United States and Israel should have a "free hand" in dealing with other countries in their respective spheres of influence. That effectively means controlling the narrative so that the U.S. and the Jewish state always appear to be victims of other nations' unprincipled behavior and also creating an environment where there can be no effective legal challenges to aggressive action.

The expulsion of two Russian diplomats over the imaginary Prague poisoning plot is a very hostile move, Russia's Foreign Ministry has said, warning the scandal is set to affect relations between the two countries.

"The Czech side has acted dishonorably and unworthily, taking this unfriendly step. Without any reason, the Czech authorities caused serious damage to Russian-Czech relations," the ministry said in a statement.

"The actions of Prague will receive not only an adequate response, but will be also taken into account during formation of Russian policies towards the Czech Republic."

A video posted by Donald Trump's 2020 election campaign โ€” decrying civil unrest in the wake of the killing of George Floyd โ€” was removed Thursday by Twitter, citing a copyright-infringement claim.

A June 3 tweet by the @TeamTrump account with the video now displays the message: "This media has been disabled in response to a report by the copyright owner." Twitter confirmed it received a DMCA takedown request from the owner of one of the images included in the video but the company did not specify who that was.

The video, titled "Healing, Not Hatred," currently remains available on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. [UPDATE: Facebook removed the videos from both Facebook and Instagram later Friday after it also received a DMCA complaint.]

Israelis Back Annexation Bill But Trump's peace plan raises concerns among Settlers

The White House now says it is "unlikely" to support Israel's plan to extend sovereignty over parts of the West Bank in early July, stating more groundwork was needed to draw the boundaries between Israeli and Palestinian territories.

As the Israeli parliament, the Knesset, plans to vote on the so-called annexation bill in early July, a recent poll conducted by the Israel Democracy Institute reveals that 52 percent of Jewish Israelis support applying sovereignty to parts of the predominantly Palestinian West Bank, with only 28 percent rejecting the initiative.

David Elhayani, mayor of the Jordan Valley Regional Council, is one of those backing the idea of extending Israeli sovereignty but says Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should be guided by Tel Aviv's national interests, not Washington's "deal of the century" peace plan rolled out at the end of January.

The Tory MP spearheading efforts to promote the Covid-19 contact-tracing app trial on the Isle of Wight appears to have broken lockdown rules at a barbecue also attended by the chairman of the Brexit party and political journalists, the Guardian has learned.

Bob Seely went to the evening gathering hosted by the Spectator magazine's deputy editor, Freddy Gray, in the village of Seaview on the island last month. Richard Tice, the Brexit party chairman, and his partner, the political journalist Isabel Oakeshott, were also there.

Seely said he was unaware others would be present when he arrived for a meeting, and that at all times social distancing was followed.

At the time, there was strict guidance against groups mixing from different households or people visiting and entering another person's home, with the health secretary stipulating that that included gardens.

'Basket of deplorables' 2.0? Biden claims up to 50 million Americans are 'not very good' people

Former Vice President Joe Biden told supporters during a virtual town hall on Thursday he estimated 10 to 15% of Americans were "not very good people" but said the majority were "decent" people whom the president should work towards uniting.

Biden's remarks, made during an event moderated by actor Don Cheadle, drew comparisons to comments by 2016 Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton about half of Trump's supporters being in a "basket of deplorables," or 2012 Republican nominee Mitt Romney's remarks about 47% of Americans being dependent on the federal government and not paying income tax.

Ryan Wilson, the CEO of the Gathering Spot in Atlanta, Georgia, had asked Biden how he was going to lead differently and what he would do for black Americans, "if it's true that you can't truly lead people if you don't love people."
