"I think it's a terrible thing when ballots can be collected after an election. I think it's a terrible thing when states are allowed to tabulate ballots for a long period of time after the election is over.Behind the scenes: Trump has privately talked through this scenario in some detail in the last few weeks, describing plans to walk up to a podium on election night and declare he has won. For this to happen, his allies expect he would need to either win or have commanding leads in Ohio, Florida, North Carolina, Texas, Iowa, Arizona and Georgia.
"I think it's terrible that we can't know the results of an election the night of the election. ... We're going to go in the night of, as soon as that election's over, we're going in with our lawyers.
"We don't want to have Pennsylvania, where you have a political governor, a very partisan guy. ... We don't want to be in a position where he's allowed, every day, to watch ballots come in. See if we can only find 10,000 more ballots."
Trump rebutted the article's claim he would claim early victory, saying: 'No, no that was a false report.' He did, however, say that he is prepared to take legal action in states where the result is close.Dems dig in their heels for a contested outcome:
It was unclear precisely what he meant. Trump has repeatedly called for the election result to be declared quickly. 'I don't think it's fair that we have to wait for a long period of time after the election,' he said.
Some states may take longer to know which candidate will earn their Electoral College votes tomorrow because of this. The Daily Mail reported that Pennsylvania, for example, will accept postal ballots until Friday while North Carolina will still count ballots even eight days after Election Day - though the latter state's election officials said 97% of ballots will already be tallied and reported by Election Night.
This one tweeted by a New York Times national political reporter:
Pro-Biden analytics firm Hawkfish previously asserted that it's likely President Trump will appear to have won in a landslide on election night but may lose after mail in ballots are counted, which "will take days if not weeks to tally."
Big Tech, Democrats and the mass media have all repeatedly insisted that Trump will not be allowed to declare victory on the night, regardless of the Electoral College count.
"We're ready. We're prepared. We've been ready for a while because we see this irresponsibility of the president, his disrespect for the Constitution, for our democracy and for the integrity of our elections. So we're ready for him."
"he suffers from dementia. Nancy Pelosi wants to loosen the restrictions on getting the president out of office if he is suffering from mental illness. And she said it doesn't pertain to Trump. So what is it for?"Giuliani was referring to the Democratic House Speaker's recent move to establish a commission that would decide whether the president in power is mentally fit for the office. She said the work was not designed to target Trump, as he would be ousted at the ballot box. This sparked speculation among the president's supporters that the Democrats had hatched a contingency plan to force a transfer of power to Kamala Harris, in case Biden wins.
Comment: Maybe this recent Biden gaffe has something to do with these very obvious irregularities??
