Street artist SABO triggers the Left with 'Say Her Name' poster of woman shot by police at capitol protest

sabo ashli babbitt
As usual, street artist SABO has managed to trigger the Left with his latest venture.

The artist, who was on Capitol Hill at the time of the rally and the riot, is well known for tweaking the noses of Leftist politicians, Hollywood, and Trump himself.

This time, however, SABO's using the Left's own rhetorical tropes to call attention to the case of Ashli Babbitt, the Air Force Veteran who was shot and killed by Capitol Police for breaching the Capitol entrance.

He's created a free downloadable poster of Babbitt in hopes that the life of the Trump supporter will not be forgotten.

Barry Pollack, an attorney for the Liebengood family, confirmed Liebengood died by suicide after having been on-duty at the Capitol on Wednesday.

"His death is a tragedy that has deprived all of us a dedicated public servant," Pollack said in a statement. "His family has suffered a devastating loss and asks that they be given space to grieve in private."

Some 9,000 children died in Ireland's church-run homes for unwed mothers, a government report published on Tuesday found. This is equivalent to 15 percent of all children who were born or lived in the 18 institutions investigated over nearly 80 years.

The nearly 3,000-page report describes the emotional and even physical abuse some of the 56,000 unmarried mothers โ€” from farmhands to domestic servants โ€” were subjected to in the so-called mother-and-baby homes.

"It appears that there was little kindness shown to them and this was particularly the case when they were giving birth," the report said.

No sex please, we're locked down: Plunging global birth rate shows long-term effects of Covid on society will be DEVASTATING

While our focus is on beating the virus now, the real cost will come in future with the after-effects lasting generations. A drastically reduced birth rate causing a major shortfall in labour is an indication of what's in store.

As the restrictions defining Lockdown 3.0 turn ever more draconian, the authoritarian crackdown on dissent and the increasingly grim prognosis for Covid-19 are having a serious impact not just on the here and now, but on our future. Things are so serious, people have stopped having sex.

The UK birth rate is expected to plunge to a record low this year, thanks to a weary population left so deflated by this interminable coronavirus pandemic that the last thing on their minds is bringing more children into the world. Why would you?

Twitter bans 70,000 accounts for posting 'QAnon' material over the weekend

QAnon
Twitter said more than 70,000 accounts were purged from its platform since Friday.

A post by the social media site Monday evening said Twitter took steps to crack down on "attempts to incite violence, organize attacks, and share deliberately misleading information about the election outcome" after a violent siege of the U.S. Capitol that took place on Wednesday.

Twitter singled out content associated with the QAnon conspiracy theory popular among some supporters of President Trump.

"Since Friday, more than 70,000 accounts have been suspended as a result of our efforts, with many instances of a single individual operating numerous accounts," Twitter said. "These accounts were engaged in sharing harmful QAnon-associated content at scale and were primarily dedicated to the propagation of this conspiracy theory across the service."

Many Twitter users have been reporting significant drops in their follower numbers over the past few days.

"Our updated enforcement on QAnon content on Twitter, along with routine spam challenges, has resulted in changes in follower count for some people's Twitter accounts. In some cases, these actions may have resulted in follower count changes in the thousands," Twitter said.

Snitch nation: Yelp debuts new feature allowing users to report businesses' mask & social distancing violations

Yelp is giving users another way to scold local businesses from a place of moral superiority, launching a feedback feature to reflect how well a business is enforcing social distancing, face coverings, and other Covid-19 rules.

The user-generated review site debuted the new feature on Tuesday, along with a mockup of how listings will look going forward. Under "Covid-19 updates," in addition to informing users whether a business offers delivery or sit-down dining, user evaluations based on how well the establishment adheres to social distancing and mask regulations will appear.

It's not clear whether businesses will have the option of contesting bad marks, a major threat to establishments already hanging by an economic thread due to pandemic-related shutdowns, but the app claims it has safeguards in place to protect businesses from malicious review-spamming, having "implemented advanced technology to mitigate potential misuse of the feature."

Are you ready for total (ideological) war?

So, welcome to 2021! If last week was any indication, it is going to be quite an exciting year. It is going to be the year in which GloboCap reminds everyone who is actually in charge and restores "normality" throughout the world, or at least attempts to restore "normality," or the "New Normality," or the "Great Normal Reset," or "The New Normal War on Domestic Terror" ... or whatever they eventually decide to call it.

In any event, whatever they call it, GloboCap is done playing grab-ass. They have had it with all this "populism" malarkey that has been going on for the last four years. Yes, that's right, the party is over, you Russian-backed white supremacist terrorists! You Trump-loving, anti-mask grandmother killers! You anti-vax, election-fraud-conspiracy theorists! You deviants who refuse to follow orders, wear your damn masks, vote for who they tell you, and believe whatever completely nonsensical official propaganda they pour into your heads!

Oh, yes, you really did it this time! You stormed the goddamned US Capitol. You and your racist, Russia-backed army of bison-hat wearing half-naked actors have meddled with the primal forces of GloboCap, and now, by God, you will atone! No, do not try to minimize your crimes. You entered a building without permission! The building where America simulates democracy! You walked around in there waving silly flags! You went into the Chamber, into people's offices! One of you actually put his filthy populist feet up on Pelosi's desk ... ON HER DESK! This aggression will not stand!

FBI bulletin: Armed protests planned for 50 state capitols and the US Capitol ahead of Inauguration Day

Media and Capitol breach

Organizers are reportedly planning armed protests slated to occur at 50 state capitols, as well as the U.S Capitol, in the days leading up to Inauguration Day, according to an internal FBI bulletin obtained by ABC News.

"Armed protests are being planned at all 50 state capitols from 16 January through at least 20 January, and at the US Capitol from 17 January through 20 January," the bulletin read, according to ABC's Aaron Katersky, who added that a group is "calling for 'storming' state, local, and federal government courthouses and administrative buildings in the event President Trump is removed prior to Inauguration Day."

According to the bulletin, the FBI has "received information about an identified armed group intending to travel to Washington, DC on 16 January." The group, per the bulletin, has reportedly warned that a "huge uprising" will occur if Congress attempts to remove President Trump through the 25th Amendment.

Parler finds refuge with right-leaning webhosting service

A handful of Big Tech companies moved to take down social media platform Parler over the weekend, but it appears to have found a new company to help try to keep its website running.

On Monday, Parler registered its domain and server to be hosted by Epik, an internet webhosting company known for working with right-leaning websites. Gab, another social media platform popular with conservatives, also uses Epik. A web domain search shows that Parler is now registered with Epik.

Epik put out a statement on Monday claiming it had no discussion of providing future services to Parler. Epik did acknowledge, however, that Parler was "working on satisfying the requested terms placed upon them."

Epik also defended Parler and said that it was being unfairly treated in comparison to its larger competitors Twitter and Facebook, which create an "undeniable double standard" when it comes to their policing and enforcement of content.

Shooting the Capitol rioter saved black lawmakers from lynching, claims Congressman (who also feared 'overpopulation could capsize Guam')

Hank Johnson
© AJC.comRep. Hank Johnson, (D-GA)
US Representative Hank Johnson, who told a Navy admiral in 2010 that overpopulation could cause Guam to capsize, said the police shooting of a protester who breached the Capitol on Wednesday saved black lawmakers from being hung.

"I have no doubt that some of us who look like me would have been hanging from the railings of the third floor onto the House floor, swinging like fruit, strange fruit," Johnson (D-Georgia), who is black, told the Rev. Al Sharpton on Saturday in an MSNBC interview.
US Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt was shot in the throat and killed on Wednesday as she and more than a dozen other rioters tried to get into the Speaker's Lobby, a hallway that would have given them access to the House chamber.
Johnson said he was among 30-to-40 House members who were in the third-floor gallery of the House chamber at the time, claiming that he would have been trapped.

Comment: In the past, Mr. Johnson also compared Trump to Adolf Hitler and described Trump's Republican supporters as the dregs of society. And AOC's hyperbolic, inflammatory remarks? Pseudo-reality hysteria to serve a purpose.
