Democrats and the US mainstream media have insisted that tales of George Soros' malign influence on US politics are conservative conspiracies. Americans targeted by prosecutors whose elections he financed can testify otherwise.

Take the case of two Californians who are facing 'hate crime' charges for painting over a Black Lives Matter mural outside the Contra Costa County courthouse during the Independence Day weekend.

Nichole Anderson and David Nelson are being prosecuted by District Attorney Diana Becton, who described BLM as "an important civil rights cause that deserves all of our attention," (emphasis added) and insisted that "we must address the root and byproduct of systemic racism in our country."

Comment: Under the radar, George Soros has been quietly buying himself elected prosecutors all over the US.

Last year, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan suggested that Hagia Sophia, formerly the Church of the Holy Wisdom, which used to be an Orthodox Christian cathedral before becoming a mosque and then a museum, could become a mosque again, with free admission.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed on Friday that he has signed a decree converting Hagia Sophia into a mosque.

"It has been decided to delegate control over Hagia Sophia to Diyanet [Directorate of Religious Affairs] and open it for prayers," the decree that Erdogan posted on Twitter read.

Erdogan's decree has been read off in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and met with applause.

'All who don't kowtow to BLM must be destroyed': The new Inquisition wants to dismantle the America we know

The real purpose of Black Lives Matter has become apparent. They are not a social movement about racial equality, but rather a secular, fundamentalist dogma devoted to subjugation and destruction.

Recently, in a conversation with a lady friend at my apartment, we began to discuss political bits and to have a bit of playful debate. During the course of the discussion, we ended up on the issues of awful policing and race. Though we had some common ground when it came to the need for more police transparency and more focus on constitutional respect, we disagreed on Black Lives Matter. Specifically when it came to my bringing up many of my recent articles, discussing the pressure they put on artists.

Though I've discussed the "trained Marxists" of Black Lives Matter and how their tactics may lead to Donald Trump's re-election, there hasn't been much discussion about what makes the movement tick. Specifically what its members are all really about and how they ignore issues that affect the black community. They place blame at the feet of people that aren't even related to current issues either, instead deflecting to a completely different "big bad" as if they're living in Alabama circa 1950.

Notre Dame Cathedral to be rebuilt without modern touches

Notre Dame Cathedral will be rebuilt just the way it stood before last year's devastating fire.

No swimming pool or organic garden on the roof of the medieval Paris monument, or contemporary glass spire, or other modern twists. And to stay historically accurate, it will again be built with potentially toxic lead.

That's the verdict reached by French President Emmanuel Macron, the cathedral's present-day architects and the general in charge of the colossal reconstruction project for one of the world's most treasured landmarks.

Country band Lady A, formerly Lady Antebellum, sues blues singer Lady A

Lady Antebellum, Lady A
In June, the band formerly known as Lady Antebellum announced it would change its name to Lady A to remove any association with slavery. But weeks after appearing to reach an agreement with Seattle-based blues singer Anita White, who has been using the same name for more than a decade, the country group announced on Wednesday it is suing her.

"Today we are sad to share that our sincere hope to join together with Anita White in unity and common purpose has ended," the band members of Lady A said in a statement to CBS News. "She and her team have demanded a $10 million payment, so reluctantly we have come to the conclusion that we need to ask a court to affirm our right to continue to use the name Lady A, a trademark we have held for many years."

Band members Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley, and David Haywood decided to sue after "White's attempt to enforce purported trademark rights in a mark that Plaintiffs have held for more than a decade," according to the lawsuit. The band is not seeking monetary damages, the lawsuit said.

Liberal Zionists make arguments that echo white nationalists— 'There is no equality between us and the Palestinians'

Merav Michaeli israel journalist
Merav Michaeli is an Israeli journalist
One good thing about Israel's annexation push is the crisis in the Israel lobby. Powerful rightwing Jewish groups that are holding the bag for Netanyahu have been exposed as moral dimwits. AIPAC and the American Jewish Committee are in freefall right now because their only response to events is, Stand by Israel.

While liberal Zionists can brag that they have seized the moment and have seemed to slow Israel's plans.

But hold on. As I listen to liberal Zionist arguments against annexation, it is stunning how many of them are ethno-nationalist, or even Jewish supremacist. Jews and Palestinians aren't equal. We Jews need a strong majority. You'd think that the liberal Zionist groups might be a little ashamed of offering space to such arguments, but no — they charge right in.

Many of these arguments are from Israeli Jews. Israel is a rightwing society. So if you're a liberal Zionist group that defers to Israeli speakers because they live there — well, you've got a problem!

Monstrous: Dutch police discover secret and sophisticated torture site in shipping containers

torture chamber
Authorities in the Netherlands have discovered an apparent torture site hidden inside shipping containers, which were lined with sound-proofing material and filled with assumed torture devices, the country's National Prosecutor's Office has said.

Officers raided the site at Wouwse Plantage on the Dutch-Belgian border on June 22, arresting six men suspected of kidnapping and hostage taking.

They found six shipping containers which had been converted to what are believed to be "prison cells," as well as a stash of weaponry including pruning shears and loppers.

"In each of the cells, handcuffs were attached to the ceiling and floor, in order to be able to chain someone standing up with their arms raised," the statement said. "The rooms were finished with noise isolating panels and heat-insulating foil."

One of the units also contained a dental chair, with straps for feet and arms. "The sea container with the dental chair contained bags with objects that were presumably intended to torture or at least put pressure on victims," the statement added.

Comment: In addition to the monstrous acts that are presumed to have taken place in these containers, what makes this grisly discovery so disturbing is the obviously high level of organization and financial resources that were available to the perpetrators. This is clearly an almost "professional" operation that we only usually see set up by governments' militaries and intelligence agencies.

Legal challenge to COVID-19 measures filed in Ontario Superior Court

ontario superior court
We are living in unprecedented times. The mass and indiscriminate containment of citizens, the restriction of access to parliament, the courts, medical and educational services, the destruction of local economies and livelihoods, and the requirement to physically distance, along with the forced use of non-medical masking are extraordinary measures that have never before been imposed on the citizens of Canada. The impact of these aberrant measures on our physical, emotional, psychological, social and economic well-being is profoundly destructive and these actions are unsustainable, unwarranted, extreme and unconstitutional.

During times of emergency, Constitutional rights do not stop being important. They become even more important.

Vaccine Choice Canada has made numerous formal requests of the Government of Canada and various provincial governments to provide evidence that justifies the declaration of an emergency, the imposition of unscientific and unwarranted measures, and the violations of our Charter rights and freedoms, to no avail.

Minneapolis salon owner says city not helping after business torched in riots: 'I'm just left alone'

Flora Westbrooks
A Minneapolis salon owner, whose business was burned down during riots sparked over the death of George Floyd, told "Fox & Friends" on Thursday she feels "alone" after city leaders and politicians have failed to help struggling business owners.

"It hurts to know that I have no business. I have nothing. I don't even have a styling chair anymore, you know. I don't have a salon anymore. It hurts," said Flora Westbrooks, the owner of Flora's Hair Designs. "I'm just left alone. I don't have any help."

Westbrooks owned the salon for about four decades before her business was "burned to the ground due to civil unrest" in Minneapolis on May 29, according to a GoFundMe page that was set up to help her rebuild.
