City of Ottawa threatens the lives of freedom protesters' pets

The city of Ottawa issued a tweet aimed at the Freedom Convoy protestors, threatening to confiscate their pets on top of all the other measures aimed at them.

The notice put up on the official Twitter account reads: "Attention animal owners at demonstration If you are unable to care for your animal as a result of enforcement actions, your animal will placed into protective care for 8 days, at your cost. After 8 days, if arrangements are not made, your animal will be considered relinquished."

To be clear, the text "your animal will be considered relinquished" means in no uncertain terms that the animals will be put into the city's animal shelter system.

This did not go unnoticed in the response tweets to the original notice. "What happens after the animals are 'relinquished'? You put them down?" read one reply tweet by journalist Chris Tomlinson:

Comment: Lowering the boom, Ottawa is resorting to theft and blackmail rather than negotiate. Trust your pet to the pound? See what can happen:

According to The New York Times:
Tension built throughout the day as the authorities issued a stream of warnings, saying that once they move in to clear the streets of the capital city, the protesters face arrest, seizure of their vehicles, loss of any pets in their trucks and cars, revocation of their drivers' licenses, fines โ€” and up to five years in prison if they bring children to an unlawful demonstration.
From The Countersignal:
Position statements issued by the Ottawa Humane Society reveal that they may unilaterally euthanize any animal that they deem to be "not suitable for adoption." Arbitrary behavioral and health tests would be used to make the call.

These decisions about the life of a trucker's pet would, thus, be made without their consent or knowledge while they are imprisoned for indefinite periods of time via the Emergency Powers of the Trudeau regime.

What is true at every shelter is that when you surrender a dog, what happens to him is completely out of your hands.

It isn't clear what length of time Convoy supporters may face if arrested for peacefully protesting, but the government has been clear that it could be up to one year in prison, in addition to a possible $100,000 fine.

This move, while despicable, should come as no surprise, as authoritarian regimes often resort to such measures when under stress.

As it stands, all Canadians continue to be held hostage following Trudeau's invoking of the Emergencies Act, with Canadians' who happened to support the Convoy financially being threatened with the possible freezing of their bank account. Dogs are just the latest target for a government in shambles.

Man kicked off flight over comment written on his mask

Passenger confrontation

A man aboard an Allegiant Air flight was asked to deplane before take-off in recent days over a "message" he had written on his mask.

A video posted online by "Libs of Tik Tok" shows a flight attendant confronting the man with a request that he wear a different mask over "a comment that you've written on there," which in turn led him to inquire whether that was a violation of his rights.

The flight attendant responded by citing an "FAA regulation" as the reason for her demand.

Comment: Radogna's tweet was flagged 'for sensitive content' as he donned the airline mask, politely requested definition for the ejection (above tweet) and was ultimately forced to disembark:

Record 7 percent in US now identify as LGBT: Gallup

The percentage of U.S. adults who identify themselves as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or another sexuality other than heterosexual has increased to a new high of 7.1 percent, a recent Gallup poll found.

The poll also found that 86.3 percent of respondents said they are straight or heterosexual, while 6.6 percent did not offer their orientation.

The newest measurement of LGBT identification is double the percentage it was in 2012, when Gallup first measured it. The percentage has been steadily increasing since the poll began, the survey giant noted.

Gallup added that the increase in individuals who identify with the LGBT community primarily reflects the higher prevalence of such identities among younger Americans.

Approximately 1 in 5 Generation Z Americans, born between 1997 and 2003, now identify as LGBT, almost double the number of millennials.

Comment: Some possibilities to ponder: 1) Gen Z is just gayer than other generations, perhaps with some sort of phenotypic selection phenomenon taking place, 2) Gen Z, as the first generation to be targeted from infancy by a deliberate ideological training program, is displaying the effects of mass hysteria - i.e., psychogenic illness. There's a reason entire peer groups of young women end up "identifying" as transgender, and it isn't because they all just happen to be in fact transgender.

US truckers organize stateside convoys set to protest COVID-19 'overreach'

A group of US trucker convoys โ€” inspired by the weeks-long demonstrations north of the border โ€” are joining protests against COVID-19 restrictions and mandates in several cities.

The Great American Patriot Project started the American Truckers Freedom Fund on Wednesday and urged truck drivers to join three convoys to Washington, DC, next month.

The political action committee said it was launching the motorcades in the first month of March. One would travel from California through the Southwest and Deep South to DC. Two others would originate in Ohio and end in the capital.

"I don't think that anybody wants to be told what to do," Erica Knight, GAPP spokeswoman, told Fox News. "They don't want to deal with these mandates and it's kind of a way to stand up for all the American people against it."

The initiative came as Canadian law enforcement was set to use emergency measures to disperse truck drivers from their occupation of central Ottawa, where they had paralyzed traffic in the capital since late January. Their "Freedom Convoy" compatriots had abandoned the last trucker blockade at the US border on Wednesday.

Meta Platforms Inc. has tumbled out of the world's 10 largest companies by market value, hammered by its worst monthly stock decline ever.

Once the world's sixth largest company with a valuation in excess of $1 trillion, the Facebook parent closed on Thursday with a value of $565 billion, placing it in 11th place behind Tencent Holdings Ltd., according to data compiled by Bloomberg.

Facebook executive fired after being caught child-grooming in YouTube sex-sting operation

Facebook executive pedophile
A high-level Facebook staffer was allegedly caught soliciting a minor for sex during an amateur undercover sting operation in Columbus, Ohio. The video of the encounter was posted to the YouTube channel "Predator Catchers Indianapolis" on February 16.

Jeren Andrew Miles, 35, of Palm Springs California, allegedly sent sexually explicit texts to a 13-year-old boy and made plans for the boy to meet him at Le Meridien Columbus hotel.

Comment: Hopefully this slime-ball is investigated by law enforcement and sent to prison for grooming a child. Although one wonders, how many other high-profile employees at the social media companies are also of a similar ilk?

It might help to explain why Facebook and other major left-leaning media platforms have historically been known to take a lenient stance against material involving child abuse, trafficking and pornography, and instead rather focus their efforts on stopping the spread of "fake news", "hate speech" and "unacceptable views".

Why the trolls are winning

bloody hell newscaster
In February 2019, an indignant opinion piece appeared in the Independent by one Liam Evans, a self-proclaimed "comedy aficionado" who believed that comedians ought to be subject to criminal investigation for "problematic jokes". The piece was derided by some as alarmist, but three years on, the controversy over Jimmy Carr's Holocaust joke has prompted the Culture Secretary to propose something similar: a new law that would make it illegal for streaming services to broadcast offensive comedy.

A spokesperson for the Prime Minister echoed her response, saying that he is looking into "toughening measures for social media and streaming platforms which don't tackle harmful content on their platforms". SNP Councillor Julie McKenzie has called for Carr to be "prosecuted" along with "his applauding audience". Liam Evans, it seems, was simply ahead of his time.

The key difference is that Liam Evans does not exist. The article was a hoax, intended to draw attention to the ideological drift of the mainstream media. (For those who are interested, if you take the fourth letter of every sentence in the article the true author is revealed.)

Comment: It's not mentioned in the article, but some of the best hoaxes in recent times are coming from internet message boards such as 4Chan.

The Epstein Files: Media coverage of billionaire's death raises new questions

The death of the notorious sex offender led to a wave of questionable narratives.

Documents released to RT investigative unit The Detail under Freedom of Information laws have revealed how, in the days following the mysterious death of Jeffrey Epstein, US Bureau of Prison officials struggled to get their story straight on his alleged suicide. Simultaneously, they were using the opportunity to wage a PR war, flooding the media with potentially false narratives about his death, many of which persist to this day.

Early on the morning of August 10, 2019, Metropolitan Correctional Center guards found Epstein unresponsive in his jail cell, where he was awaiting trial on child sex trafficking charges. He was then rushed to hospital, before being pronounced dead at 6:39 am.

BLM organizer convicted on 20 counts of possessing child porn

Christopher DeVries
Christopher DeVries, who organized a protest in support of Black Lives Matter and defunding the police, pleaded guilty to 20 counts of possession of child pornography.

DeVries received a minimum of a three to six-year prison sentence, which started on December 27th, a $4,000 fine, and must register as a sex offender and comply with probation. DeVries could be incarcerated for as long as 15 years, with one year potentially being washed from the sentence if he completes sex offender treatment.

DeVries was originally charged with six counts of possessing child sexual abuse images, one count of possession of psilocybin mushrooms, and one count of falsifying physical evidence in July 2020. The indictment came one month after he organized a "Skate Away the Hate'" protest where he utilized a loudspeaker to rattle off demands that he claimed were conveyed to him by local chapters of Black Lives Matter:

"If we divest funds from police and prison systems we all benefit," claimed DeVries at the rally.

Comment: The BLM movement is certainly proving to be a treasure trove of scum and villainy. Who could have seen this coming?
