A St. Louis man was arrested Tuesday after a video appeared to catch him nonchalantly shooting a homeless man execution-style in broad daylight.

Deshawn Thomas, 23, was arrested in connection with the Monday murder but has yet to be charged, police said.

Thomas can be seen struggling to load his gun as he stands right behind the homeless man, who is sitting on the curb just a few feet away, a bystander video posted online shows.

He then appears to fire at the yet-to-be-identified victim, who raised his arms at one point, but made no attempt to run away and seemed almost resigned to his fate, the video shows.

"Oh my God. He just f-king killed him," the witness can be heard saying.

The shooting happened in the heart of downtown St. Louis around 10 a.m. Monday, police said.

Ukraine's army has a big Nazi problem, ex-US soldier tells RT

Nazi influence in the Ukrainian military is omnipresent, John McIntyre, a former US soldier who served as a mercenary in various Ukrainian military units for almost a year, has claimed in an interview with RT. He said that he defected to Russia after witnessing the actions of Ukrainian troops amid the ongoing conflict between Kiev and Moscow.

McIntyre described how he escaped after crossing into Moldova, from Odessa. "I had to leave," he told Murad Gazdiev. "I thought I was going to be killed, my family got me $300 to get to Chisinău, then I went to Istanbul and then to Moscow." He didn't reveal at which exact point he made himself known to the Russian side.

The former American soldier recounted his experience in Ukraine, and explained why he grew disillusioned with Kiev's cause. "When I came, I was really surprised. Everybody had tattoos and Nazi symbolism," he told Gazdiev. McIntyre also admitted he did not believe ultra-right ideology was "that big of a problem" for Ukraine until he saw things on the ground himself.

He added that he had to conceal his own anti-fascist and communist views to fit in with the Ukrainian troops. Some other Western mercenaries also directly told him: "The Russians aren't the Nazis, we are the Nazis," according to McIntyre.

The ex-US soldier served with the Ukrainian forces for a year, although now he claims he had always planned to defect to Russia once he gathered enough intelligence. At a certain point, he was "compromised" after talking to someone about the war crimes committed by the Ukrainian forces. According to McIntyre, whistleblowers are treated in Ukraine even more harshly than spies.

Recently, French President Emmanuel Macron revealed plans to reorganize the French troop presence in Africa. The president announced a "new security partnership" that would see a minimized number of French military personnel in Africa. On March 1, Macron began his trip to Africa, starting with Gabon.

Several dozen protesters holding portraits of Vladimir Putin and waving Russian flags gathered in front of the French Embassy in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) on Wednesday, March 1.

The demonstrators reportedly chanted the slogan "Macron is a killer, Putin to the rescue!" and unfurled banners reading "Macron is the godfather of DRC balkanization," "Congolese say no to French policy," and "Macron is an unwanted guest in DRC" as photographed and filmed by local media.

Comment: Macron shouldn't be too surprised if, despite his professed claims of a 'new era', that he receives a similar welcome elsewhere on his tour of Africa:

'Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion' policies are poisoning college campuses

texas A&M dei woke political correct
A sample of the indoctrination programs choking the life out of universities
College campuses are well known for political correctness. Nowadays, they are specifically known for so-called diversity, equity, and inclusion programs. The stated purpose of these programs is to make people feel more included. But what happens if those programs are doing precisely the opposite?

Scott Yenor, a Washington Fellow for the Claremont Institute and a professor of political science at Boise State University, has produced a report on the effect that DEI has had on the campus of Texas A&M University, the 73,000-student university in College Station, Texas. In the last eight years, the university has leaned hard into its DEI programs — for example, requiring staff diversity training and instituting hate-reporting systems. Yenor's report shows these DEI programs have done the exact opposite of what they set out to accomplish.

In 2015, a survey performed by the university showed that 82% of black Aggies "agreed" or "strongly agreed" that they "belonged" at Texas A&M. By 2017, the number had dropped to just 79%, and then in the 2020 survey, that number was all the way down to 55%. A similar decline in feelings of belonging has occurred among Hispanic students, down from 88% to 76%, and white students, down from 92% to 82%. So thanks to DEI, everyone now feels less included.

Chicago voters cheer Lori Lightfoot's ousting in mayoral race: 'Woke agenda is not working'

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot did not advance to the city's April 4 runoff election Tuesday

Chicago residents Diana Dejacimo and Sam Sanchez joined 'Fox & Friends First' to discuss Lightfoot losing her re-election bid as the city battles rampant crime.

Chicago voters overwhelming rejected Mayor Lori Lightfoot's agenda for the Windy City by ousting her in Tuesday night's mayoral election, with many critics citing crime as a key sticking point to her departure.

Resident Diana Dejacimo was robbed at gunpoint back in December, and she said after the horrifying ordeal she experienced, she did not know one single person who voted for Lightfoot as violence continues to unravel in city streets.

"I believe that people have just had enough," Dejacimo said during Fox & Friends First on Wednesday. "My message has been go out and change. Regime change is the only way we're going to fix this, and I think this was a loud and clear message that this woke agenda is not working for Chicago."

Comment: Lightfoot's reign has been an unmitigated disaster from the beginning. Chicago suffered from four years of woke lunacy..

Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves signs bill banning transgender procedures for minors

Tate Reeves
© Rogelio V. Solis/APMississippi Gov. Tate Reeves announces the state-imposed boil-water notice has been lifted in Mississippi's capital city after nearly seven weeks, during a Sept. 15, 2022, news conference in Jackson.
Gov. Tate Reeves (R-MS) signed legislation Tuesday that will ban minors from accessing gender transition surgeries and hormone therapy after the bill passed the Republican-controlled state Senate last week.

The bill, known as the Regulate Experimental Adolescent Procedures, or REAP, Act, will bar health providers in the state from performing gender transition surgeries or prescribing puberty blockers to people under 18.

"There is a dangerous movement spreading across America today," Reeves said at the bill's signing. "It's advancing under the guise of a false ideology and pseudoscience being pushed onto our children through radical activists, social media, and online influencers. And it's trying to convince our children that they are in the wrong body. I stand before you today to sign legislation that puts a stop to this in Mississippi and protects our kids."

Comment: A step in the right direction. Meanwhile, states like Vermont and California are positioning themselves as "sanctuary" states for gender surgeries and hormones, perhaps unconstitutionally. See Josh Slocum's reporting on the topic below:

Deconstruction: Why leftist movements cannot coexist with people that value freedom

infestation, oppression, possession
It should be clear to anyone paying attention during this current stage of instability in our modern era that something is very wrong in terms of American society. I'm not talking about ongoing issues of political corruption and economic mismanagement, I'm talking about something much more dangerous. I'm talking about the systematic derailment of our culture, heritage, principals, history and moral compass. I'm talking about the vicious devouring of the very sinews that hold our civilization together.

There is a cancer eating away at America, a concerted and organized effort to destabilize. For anyone who is familiar with the Conjuring movies, it's a bit like a demonic invasion. As Ed Warren cautions, the three stages of attack are infestation, oppression and finally, possession. The little demon we are dealing with, though, comes with Antifa patches, rainbow flags and special pronouns.

This week I came across a statement by Georgia representative Marjorie Taylor Greene in which she called for a "national divorce", a separation of conservative red states and far left blue states, a parting of ways due to our obvious irreconcilable differences. Leftists within the corporate media, of course, flipped out, accusing Greene of inciting treason and the destruction of the US.

Comment: While we agree that "one cannot reason with a monster" - we don't think that "erase[ing] that monster from existence" is the solution either.

NYT journo, '1619 Project' creator lectures survivor of China's Cultural Revolution on oppression

Nikole Hannah-Jones
Nikole Hannah-Jones
New York Times journalist and "1619 Project" creator Nikole Hannah-Jones attempted to lecture a survivor of Mao's Cultural Revolution about oppression in a fierce exchange online.

Hannah-Jones, whose most prominent contribution to journalism is her set of New York Times Magazine essays claiming that America was founded by the British colonists in order to safeguard and promote slavery, sparred with CRT opponent Xi Van Fleet on Twitter Sunday after the Maoist survivor challenged Jones' rejection of "American exceptionalism."

In a three-part thread, Hannah-Jones argued that Black history is under attack because "our very presence on these lands is the greatest rebuke to the narrative of American exceptionalism."

"Yourself and I, an immigrant from China with 200 borrowed dollars in my pocket when I arrived more than 30 yrs ago, are the proof of American Exceptionalism," Van Fleet fired back.

When pressed to elaborate by Hannah-Jones, Van Fleet argued that natural rights are unique to America's founding, telling Jones that because "of it we were able to abolish slavery, Jim Crow, anti-Chinese laws ... to allow individuals to succeed.

Comment: Hannah-Jones is the epitome of insufferably arrogant, condescending, and just plain wrong:

Ukrainian kamikaze drone crashes before reaching Russian gas plant target, Russian authorities close airspace over St. Petersburg

Gubastovo
The crash site was near Gubastovo, half way between Moscow and Ryazan
A drone crashed just 68 miles from the Kremlin today in a suspected 'failed attack' by Ukraine.

Russian president Vladimir Putin has ordered officials to tighten control of the border with Ukraine after a spate of drone attacks delivered a new challenge to Moscow more than a year after the invasion of its neighbour.

While Putin did not refer to any specific attacks in a speech in Moscow, his comments came hours after drones targeted several areas in southern and western Russia and authorities closed the airspace over St Petersburg in response to what some reports said was a drone.

Images shared online appear to depict a Ukrainian UJ-31 'loitering munitions' kamikaze flying bomb after it crashed down near a gas plant more than 300 miles from the border.
