Ex-ISIS member reveals terrorists' ties with UK's MI6

military intelligence MI6
A former member of the ISIS terrorist group disclosed on Monday that Britain's spy agency, MI6, has recruited and used foreign terrorists in Syria. Mohammed Hussein Saud, a defected member of the ISIS, told reporters that the MI6 tried to spy on the Syrian and Russian military centers in Syria with the help of terrorists, the Arabic-language service of Russia Today reported.
"The British told me to go to Tadmur (Palmyra), saying that they would provide me with money, cell phone and anything I need," he said.
Saud also revealed his meetings with the British intelligence officers in the al-Tanf region at the bordering areas between Syria and Jordan, where they asked him to collect intelligence about the important Russian military bases in Syria and ways to attack them. He added that the MI6 had hired a tour guide in Tadmur who knew several languages to guide the spying team.

Comment: Yet more confirmation of how ISIS and other terrorist boogeyman groups are merely the products and proxies of Western intelligence agencies and interests seeking to divide and conquer various parts of the Middle East (and other parts of the world).

'Worst since World War II': Global economy to shrink more than 5% this year

The Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown measures have thrown the global economy into turmoil, the World Bank says, projecting global GDP (gross domestic product) to contract 5.2 percent in 2020.

The anticipated decline will be the worst since World War II and nearly three times as steep as in the 2009 global recession.

In its Global Economic Prospects report, the bank forecasts that the pandemic is expected to plunge most countries into recession in 2020, with "per capita income contracting in the largest fraction of countries globally since 1870."

Advanced economies are projected to shrink seven percent. The bank has expressed specific concern over developing markets with weaker public health systems, where up to 60 million people could be tipped into extreme poverty.

Prince Andrew 'FALSELY PORTRAYS' he's trying to assist US in Epstein probe - DOJ

Prince Andrew has become embroiled in a war of words with US prosecutors investigating the disgraced financier and child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Lawyers for the Duke of York issued a statement on Monday accusing the American investigators of misleading the public and breaching their own confidentiality rules in their handling of the inquiry.

Blackfords, the London-based criminal law specialists, alleged in a strongly worded two-page statement that the US Department of Justice (DoJ) had effectively rejected three offers of help volunteered by the prince this year.

The firm noted that the DoJ had "advised us that the duke is not and has never been a 'target' of their criminal investigations into Epstein" and that they had instead sought his confidential, voluntary cooperation.

'Incel' blew off hand making explosives to target 'hot cheerleaders': feds

A sexually frustrated Virginia man blew off a hand while trying to make homemade explosives โ€” ones he planned to use in a revenge attack on "hot cheerleaders," according to federal prosecutors.

Cole Carini, 23, went to a health clinic in Richlands last Wednesday suffering from an amputated hand, amputated fingers on the opposite hand, and shrapnel wounds to the neck and throat, the Department of Justice said.

He claimed it was from a devastating lawnmower accident โ€” but investigators found his yard overgrown, they say.

Instead, they found evidence of a recent explosion, with explosives materials, rusty nails, pipes and pieces of flesh, prosecutors said.

Parents, 4 kids, pets found dead in Texas garage amid smell of carbon monoxide: 'Not an accident'

texas murder suicide
Police in Texas are investigating a possible murder-suicide after a family of six was found dead in their home.

"It's the whole picture. The adults, the children, the pets," San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said during a press conference Thursday. "Saying it's not pretty โ€” there's no words to describe that."

Earlier that morning, police responded to a welfare check at a San Antonio home. Upon arrival, officers noticed the smell of carbon monoxide McManus said "kind of blew everybody back out the door."

SOTT Focus: Black Lives Matter Don't Care About Black People

minneapolis riot
I will lose many friends over what I'm about to say.

I will possibly be called a racist or even a white supremacist (even though I'm a brown man, who's been beaten to a pulp by neo-Nazis wearing steel toed boots).

But maybe, just maybe, the fact that I am getting 100% of my information from the black scholars in the picture - The Great Thomas Sowell, Glenn Loury, Shelby Steele, John McWorther, Coleman Hughes, Kmele Foster and Thomas Chatterton Williams, allows me some room for thought?

I've been watching the narrative play universally over the heinous killing of George Floyd, and the complete and utter lack of facts about African Americans in The US has been infuriating.

Unfortunately, anyone who doesn't submit to the dominant narrative will be called a heretic, a racist, a whites supremacist etc. Still, I can't stop myself.

Three ways lockdowns paved the way for these riots

protests
© Alex Brandon, AP
There were many reasons to oppose the COVID-19 lockdowns.

They cost human lives in terms of deferred medical treatment. They cost human lives in terms of greater suicide and drug overdoses. Domestic abuse and child abuse have increased. There is also good reason to believe that lockdowns don't actually work. The lockdown activists capitalized on media-stoked fear to push their authoritarian agenda based not on science, but on the whims of a handful of experts who insisted that they need not present any actual evidence that their bizarre, draconian, and extreme scheme was worth the danger posed to human rights, health, and the economic well-being of billions of human beings.

Those who lacked the obsessive and irresponsible tunnel vision of the prolockdown people warned that there were other dangers as well, in terms of social and political conflict.

It didn't require an especially clear crystal ball to see that destroying the livelihoods of countless millions while empowering a police state to harass and arrest law-abiding citizens would create a situation that maybe โ€” just maybe โ€” could lead to greater social and political conflict.

Specifically, there are three ways in which the lockdowns laid the groundwork for our current state of unrest.

The Woke Chimp

Laura and Bush
© Eric Peters Auto
No. Really? Seriously?

The Chimp - George W. Bush - the creature who marinated America in fear about Trrr for eight insufferable years, manufactured a war that killed hundreds of thousands, ordered the baldfaced torture of Americans, the mass warrantless and probable cause-free surveillance of Americans and the crotch fondling of Americans at airports emerges to lecture Americans about "the injustice and fear suffocate our country."

Yes, he did. You can read it, here.

What's next? Ted Bundy working at a women's shelter? Oh. Right. Ted Bundy actually did that.

Maybe dress up like a clown and do kid's parties? Before putting kids under the crawl space?

Of course, a serial killer without an office can only murder dozens. A government serial killer like The Chimp can murder millions. By government standards, The Chimp is a piker. He does not even compare with, say, Stalin.

Not for lack of trying.

And he may eventually succeed - by having set the precedent for a resurgent Stalinism, masquerading (literally) as virtue signaling. The Fear Mask is the new armband. The marker of the helpers of the next Stalin, whomever he or she may be.

This loathsome little man - a frog torturing sadist who enjoys other people's pain, smirks at their suffering - has the balls to speak of fear and injustice?

He ought to be afraid to show his face in public.

Lockdown denied Britons with life-threatening conditions critical care, largest study to date confirms

care
© Murdo MacLeod/The GuardianThe research is the biggest study of the suspension of NHS care during the coronavirus pandemic.
Almost two-thirds of Britons with common life-threatening conditions have been denied care by the NHS because hospitals have focused on fighting Covid-19, new research has revealed.

Seven out of 10 diabetics, 65% of those with high blood pressure and 64% of people suffering from breathing problems have had care cancelled by the NHS across the UK during the pandemic.

Even a majority of cancer patients - 53% - have been left unable to access treatment in the normal way, the biggest study of the suspension of NHS care during the pandemic has found.

Comment: The lockdown was sold as an unprecedented measure intended to protect the elderly and vulnerable but instead led to the abject neglect of those it claimed to be protecting. As we can see in the Office of National Statistics Excess Deaths graph below, the first spike, likely due to the coronavirus, began in January, the second and much larger spike occurred at the beginning of the lockdown, 27th March.

Coronavirus didn't cause the majority of excess deaths in the UK, the lockdown did.

Best of the Web: Do French Lives Matter? Where was the outrage when police were maiming protesters in France?

yellow vest protests
The brutal police killing of George Floyd has sparked waves of protests not only in the United States but also in the form of solidarity demos in Europe. In the UK, thousands defied the lockdown to march in London, while hundreds also protested in Manchester and Cardiff. The killing of Floyd, the subsequent protests and riots and the police brutality meted out against demonstrators have all received copious attention in the UK from the media, celebrities, politicians and more.

What is striking in this sudden outpouring of protest is how much it contrasts with the total indifference to the police violence which was, not long ago, on display week in, week out practically on our doorstep. I'm talking, of course, about the yellow-vest protests in France. The gilets jaunes revolt was the most significant and sustained period of unrest in France since 1968. But the protests themselves garnered disproportionately little media attention. And the many acts of police violence against the protesters raised barely any comment or condemnation whatsoever. The perception of a media blackout was so strong that fake-news stories spread online saying that the British government had actually banned our press from covering the gilets jaunes.
