maybe?
Is he referring to the car that drives past as being a UFO...cause if so that's just sad.. :(
The cool thing in all that footage is in the top left camera that shows how close those cars driving around the foot of the eruption came to the falling ejecta. (at 30sec in) keep in mind its night and you can only see the hot material, not the rest of the rocks that would come bouncing down the hill.
If I was driving on the flanks of a volcano at night and saw that while driving I would crap my pants.
I hardly think it looks like a car. Wouldn't we be able to make out at least the two different headlights if it was? Also, if you look closely, easiest to see from 3:43 onwards - there seems to be a bit of light underneath the direct source which at first seems to be reflected off water, but there is no water to reflect the light (the daylight picture shows there is only vegetation). So, I'm not convinced it is a car. Then again, I'm no expert.
Low light, low res, cameras would not be able to distinguish two bright objects that are close to each other at that distance. It is as it looks, one large blob of light.
As the car/truck passes you can clearing make out the red glow on the road of its tail lights.
The small light at the lower left is a reflection of the camera lens.
The fact that there is no chromatic aberration in this film indicates a low frame rate and longer exposure per frame to achieve the night vision seen in the video, this would also help over expose bright light sources.
Only thing that throws me off is the small light that mirrors the lager light by the text.
