156 melon-headed whales, also known as electra dolphins, were reported to have been washed ashore on Japan's Pacific Coast last Friday. The mass beaching has prompted fears of a repeat of the devastating 9.0 earthquake in Japan on March 11th, 2011, that led to the Fukushima nuclear disaster. A week prior to the massive earthquake, 50 melon-headed whales had beached themselves on the coast of eastern Japan.

Japanese officials minimized the importance of any such connection, while the AFP was quick to point out a lack of scientific evidence linking the events. Such a lack of evidence is expected. Science programs have long been held back from comprehensively exploring earth-changes phenomena due to the industrious and disproportionate funding of anthropogenic global warming schemes. Segmentation of science has also limited progress and insight as few researchers are supported in reaching outside the scope of their particular fields, often leading to inadequate explanations for anomalous events.

Senior researcher at the National Museum of Nature and Science, Tadasu Yamadao suggested the dolphins may have been confused and got lost.

"Sonar waves the dolphins emit might have been absorbed in the shoals, which could cause them to lose their sense of direction," Yamadao told the Yomiuri Shimbun newspaper.

However, a coast guard official told the AFP, "We see one or two whales washing ashore a year, but this may be the first time we have found over 100 of them on a beach."

Local communities are experiencing the firsts of many seemingly uncommon events, while the global picture paints an altogether different picture. Media coverage often centers around singular events; however, many in the general population are taking to social media to voice their concerns over earth-changes relationships.

Twitter user maoeos40d wrote, "Is the next one coming? Be ready for a quake."

Another wrote, "We might have a big one on the 12th (of April)."

Weeks before the 2011 earthquake in Japan, another instance of over 100 beached pilot whales preceded a powerful earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Twitter users sought answers then as well, in connection to the two events:

Is New Zealand earthquake linked to the mysterious deaths of more than 100 pilot whales?
Twitter was awash today with theories that the bizarre deaths of more than 100 stranded pilot whales in New Zealand may have been a warning that an earthquake was going to hit.

There have been TWO mass whale deaths on NZ's South Island in less than three weeks.

In the latest bizarre incident on Sunday, less than 48 hours before the earthquake hit, a pod of whales beached themselves near Cavalier Creek on Stewart Island.

Discussing the earthquake and whale deaths on Twitter, Kate Redman 'DolphinSeeker30' asked: "could the stranding of 100 pilot whales be linked to the earthquake?"

CodeNameTanya tweeted: "Over a hundred pilot whales beached themselves in New Zealand and then the earthquake. Wonder if tectonic plate shifts confuse whales. Hmmm."

VeganWheekers asked: "Could there be a connection between the 107 whales that died on New Zealand beach yesterday and today's earthquake?" while TV New Zealand added: "has anyone noticed the correlation between beached whales and earthquakes?"
In the months prior to the earthquake, the earth experienced significant mass animal deaths, wild weather and an increase in earthquake and volcanic activity. Bird deaths in January were followed by aquatic animal deaths in February while global superstorms swept across the earth.

These news stories beg the question of how such earth changes measure up to what is currently happening on the planet. There's been little respite, as the latest SOTT Earth Changes Video Summary shows:

Interested readers may want to look to Earth Changes and the Human Cosmic Connection for a scientific exploration of the influences behind these events that goes well beyond the corruption of science involved in global warming or chemtrail explanations (as a side note of interest, these two linked articles were published during the time-frame highlighted above).

All this is not to say another 'big one' will occur in the coming days or weeks (although that could be a possibility); however, given the diverse earth changes we're seeing at an ever-increasing rate, it would behoove us all to pay attention to the signs.
