Given the horrific images we've all seen of Spanish police goons violently beating up innocent men and women, this refreshing clip shows the tide has changed --- and non-violently!

What the crowds are chanting:

"The people united will never be defeated!"

Nice to see! Politicians in government need to realize the people can take it away from them whenever they want too. Being in government is a privilege not a right. You are there to serve the people so start doing your jobs! I hope America is watching. I read an article that stated countries like spain are a warning flag of what could follow with the larger economies like usa and uk. People Power!! Hopefully we will all see a big change for the better soon :D

Don't mean to be cynical - the point was for sure not lost on me and I agree it was a great watch.

But, on the other hand...
To unite the people as one is quite useful, as one force is easier to manoeuvre than many. Especially when that force is binded by emotional attachment to an ideal, and against a common enemy.

The Pied Piper is still playing the tune, these scenes being accounted for in the plan.

Was only a small handful of cops, retreat was their only real option. I just hope everyone realizes it when it comes down to it, the elite will not just give up power and walk away. They will use every weapon in their arsenal to hang on. To think otherwise is dangerously naive.

I sadly agree with you. This shows that the mass was human enough to not brutalize a bunch of unequipped cops. That indeed is a nice thing to see. But the reality didn't change at all and the same $£^&"&# are yet still in control. That was a tear in the ocean.

Yes, in the struggle to take back our lives there will be some not inconsequential losses. But sooner or later the PTB have to realize that they can't destroy or incarcerate us all. To do so would put them out of a job.
