Date of Sighting: 26 April 2010
Time: unsure

Witness Statement: I was traveling the road from Wells to Chedder when I had to stop the car due to a bright orange light in the middle of the road. It was there for around 5 seconds, the light then went from one side of the car to the other (it was if it was looking to see who was in the car ), it then returned to the middle of the road and then shot off in to the sky above. I rung my wife shortly after and from the time I last tx her I seemed to have lost about 45 mins. I cannot explain what happened in that time

Witness Statement: Tonight as I was going back into the house I looked up at the skies and spotted a ball of (what looked like) fire. It was fairly big and I first thought it was an airplane that had exploded and was going down! Then I thought it was a comet or maybe a falling star (although freakily close to our earth!).

Referring to the Skunk Ape story in last week's editions of The Valdosta Daily Times, the man's voice paused on the recorded phone message.

"... I saw it."

The Times received calls from readers who believe they have seen what may be a Skunk Ape in South Georgia. One reader account came from Brooks County, the other from Berrien County.

A Skunk Ape is reportedly a hairy humanoid creature that walks on two legs. It is described as being similar to the legendary Bigfoot, but of slighter build. Skunk Apes grow about seven-feet tall and weigh 200 to 300 pounds, according to witness accounts.

US: South Dakota object lights up ground and shoots out of atmosphere (2003)

Three South Dakota witnesses recall a November 22, 2003, incident near Rattlesnake Butte south of the Grand River where a circular or star-shaped object lit up the sky and then shot off out of the atmosphere, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.

"It did not have any characteristics of a Helicopter or Harrier jump jet as it seem the whole aircraft lit up," the reporting witness stated. "It lit up very quickly and sat there for a couple of minutes and then took off upward and away from our position at a speed not known to any aircraft that I know of. It went into space, out of our atmosphere, in a matter of milliseconds."

The following is the unedited and as yet uninvestigated report filed with MUFON. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If South Dakota MUFON State Director Lorna Hunter investigates and reports back on this case, I will release an update.

Shape of Objects: Round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I went to the garden to put the bins out and noticed three large orange globes in the sky in a NW direction coming over the horizon. They were in a linear form and stayed in this formation throughout. There was no noise or vapor trail and I wondered what they could be, so I stared at them until they reached the top of their trajectory and seemed to fade into black large discs. I do not believe in UFOs, but I was so frightened I stood there and stared some more.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I uploaded the video to YouTube, but went out for one last smoke before bed, I looked up and noticed something hovering over Edson. I guess around the north middle of town, I ran in grabbed my camera and got some OK footage. I tried to communicate with it using a flashlight and it got really bright and flashing before it headed slowly north and out of sight. I'm pretty sad today, been in a bad mood because I want it to come back, I only wish I got my husband out of bed, and had my tripod ready.

Hello Mr. Vike, My name is (name removed) I witnessed something yesterday morning that I could not explain, and after my work day ended last evening, I decided to do a web search to see if anyone else might have posted anything on the internet about witnessing this event as well.

First, let me say that I have been an airplane/aviation afficianado since I was a boy of 10 years old. I am 39 presently. I can almost identify any aircraft past or present just by sight. I grew up in Peru, Indiana just North of Grissom AFB, and joined the Marine Corps at the age of 18. It surprised no one that I went into the Marine Air Wing, and spent my time in the Corps on multiple Marine Corps Air Stations or Naval Air Stations. I became an avionics electrician, and flew as an aircrew member aboard a KC-130 Hercules aircraft.

Hello, I ran across a site that had your email and to write if someone has seen something. Tonight (5-2-10) around 11:00pm, I was outside looking north. After a minute of looking for shooting stars, I noticed 3 lights forming a triangle flying north and then it curved to the left and vanished. I have heard of UFOs that had this feature, and I have also seen things like this as a kid. This sighting tonight was in San Pablo, California.

Time: Evening.

Tonight while driving to pick up my grandson near Appleton, Wisconsin I saw a bluish hazy object falling from the sky. I was passing a vehicle on a incline, on a curve and I noticed a light and it was bluish and hazy or foggy all around it and it was falling from the sky, not straight down, but like on a curve. I could not keep my eyes on it all the time, because I was passing on a curve and all alone in my vehicle at the time. I was wondering if you knew what this could be?

US: Oregon witnesses report multiple UFOs interacting with 'fighter jets'

A group of Oregon witnesses are reporting up to 7 UFOs in the sky that appeared to interact with "fighter jets" on May 1, 2010, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.

The following is the unedited and as yet uninvestigated report filed with MUFON. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If Oregon MUFON State Director Tom Bowden investigates and reports back on this case, I will release an update.

Oregon, May 1, 2010 - We saw a bunch of ufo's flying. MUFON Case # 23091.

It started off the night before (April 29). I had heard some weird sounds over my house and then last night me and 4 of my friends saw about 7 ufo's flying around the sky at around 10 pm.

I was sitting inside when one of my friends who had been outside ran in and told us that he had just seen a ufo and that it had shot some kind of pod off of it. When we came out and he pointed it out we could see one big light and a little light under, so we watched it for a few minutes and then the little pod go back into the bigger one, so then scanned the skies for a few minutes and found four others that looked like the first one and they were all lined up.
