Weird

It is spooky noise but I wonder,I know its far fetched but maybe its another diminsion trying to come thru to here or maybe the sides of different spaces are rubbing together.Kinda sounds like some of the noise from stephen kings movie the mist..........
If its not a mundane noise then its pretty far fetched my guess its something like the window fallers and it cant get thru.
I dunno but it is spooky I wouldnt want to live there without knowing what it is,course I would prolly be trying to figure it out instead of waiting for somebody else to guess what it is.Has anybody been around the boring machine or around the dam when these noises where going on to verify it was or wasnt them?
Very Very SPOOKY

It's our economy creeking on the edges

You can hear how the loans are piling up and the city can't take it anymore. But really, sounds like something big in metalworks to me. Reminds me of a big machine without oil yet without the meanest sound. Sounds are irregular and you can hear different tones in them but there always seems to be the same pattern, the sound being divided in the first higher and a bit longer wailing section and the second lower louder closing sound of sorts. Metallic sounds. I wonder if you can hear it as strong everywhere or if it has certain stronger points. If you find no plausible physical explanation in those points you could have it support to the multi-dimension theory.

One thing is sure though, I'd buy some earplugs for that thing if it isn't a passing phenomena.

Need more examples.

"NEVER act on one report!" a famous man once cautioned.

At least one writer says this has been happening all over the planet. So let's hear some more recordings!

I know I'm not getting anything like that sound here in Seattle.

Srange ambience

In way, it sounds like ambient music.. [Link]. Weird.

Relax people,

they are ambient sounds someone is experimenting with. Listen to "Cafe del Mar" . It's more compact but the origins are the same. I used to play such sounds on my (rather loud) stereo years ago especially during summertime...Unless you have sound/motion video don't jump to conclusions. Plus without a visual i.d. , NOT FROM A SCREEN, you can never be sure. Also don't jump to conclusions. Fail rate : 90%. Have you ever wondered why in God's name they made 3d TV while we live in 4d world (multi d rather but that's another story) ? In the future cosmonauts will need them to assess situations without getting out of the ship.

Something heavy?

Sounds like something very heavy being dragged, inside a confined space that amplifies it.

Like inside an underground parking lot.

I got this image of Godzilla...

Communicating with Mothra or one of those other things the Japanese invented over long distances. Could have sworn I heard at least 3 different "voices".... Maybe more. Recordings generally fall short of the real thing though. Perhaps more of our multidimensional "space-brothers" have arrived, and are trying to communicate like elephants do over long distances. Only they got the frequency and decibel levels all wrong...? Till there is a repeat all there will be is speculation.

Mystery creates wonder, and wonder is the basis for man's desire to understand. Who knows what mysteries will be solved in our lifetime, and what new riddles will become the challenge of the new generations.
