Secret History
At the Megalithomania Conference of 2008 Dr. Osmanagić presented convincing evidence for a 220 meter tall pyramid in Bosnia, which would make it the largest pyramid on earth. Seismologic measurements by several European scientific institutes, perfect geometry and alignment at the sun and Earth's north pole as well as numerous excavations and artifacts point to an artificial creation of this structure.

Hey Snow, I may be wrong, but I had always tended to think of the Sons of Appolo and Circle Builders of the North, to be in a war of light with the Sons of Hermes and the Pyramid builders in the South. What I thought when I heard baout these pyramids, was that it showed how far North the sons of Hermes had reached, the hope being at that "time", that the sons of Hermes would eventually take over all of the Atlantean Empire and all lands of that time, and erase the temples and stone circles of the Northern Sons of Appolo by replacing them with pyramids, hence cutting the sons of Appolo off in the present (they had hoped), from a hidden stream of knowledge in their past. I wonder if there are any tunnels underneath them?
I tend to think very similar to what you say, Appollynon. Well, first of all we don't know yet whether this pyramid is antediluvian or postdiluvian. If it is from Atlantean times, it shows that the pyramidal hierarchical culture must have reached all the world at certain point, as it happens today in the current global society. Building pyramids everywhere in the same way we build cel phones antennas and power plants everywhere.
If it is from post-atlantean times, I mean, after the last global cataclysm (like the egyptian ones) then it shows that the southern pyramidal culture at some point, bega to replace the circle, or maybe that area was in their hands from the beginning. After all, there where rare cases of stone circles in the south (like Nabta in egypt) and remainings of pyramidal societies in the north.

There are MANY articles at SOTT, one is the recent finds in Lebanon, of pre-history man.. ; that POINT directly at what we have been "taught" to be history, is most likely way off the mark.

How much knowledge from what we refer to as pre-history, was actually just "plain history" when the Library of Alexandria was burned and looted? Did that one act, set mans advancement back in many areas by numerous millineum?
Many many articles at SOTT, point to mans much earlier origins, and extreme advancement in mental processes, much earlier than mainstream science is willing to bend on..he he..
And yes, at one time, the mainstream consensus was that the earth was flat! Ha!
Perhaps if the "renegade" archeologists hammer the institutes with facts long enough, they might bend to the obvious...
