Description: I live in Santa Cruz, California. I saw several orange lights on August 5, 2009. There were at least six or seven lights at first and I ran upstairs to get a camera. By the time I got downstairs to take a picture there were only three left. I got a picture of them.

Note: The witness's report is quite brief and doesn't describe any unusual aerial flight. The photo shows that three of the lights are in a triangular formation. The photo appears to be a copy and not the original photo as output from the digital camera. This of course means that the photo could have been altered. The original photos have been requested. Any updates will be posted.
